Two basic different engines. B16A and B16B. But then you have the B16A2, and the B16A3. B16A3 is from the Del Sol, B16A2 was on the EG/EK Civics. B16A is originated from the JDM DA Integras, and the EF Civics/CRXs. B16B is the EK Civic Type-R engine.

The B16A1 was present in the foreign EG6 model Civic Si Hatch, We never saw a DOHC model of the Eg6 and it's a shame, but anyhow..The B16A2 in which you mentioned was correct aswell as the B16A3..However you left out the B16A4, which is in the Civic Si from Asia...Notice I said "Asia" Not Japan...As in elsewhere..There are 2 models of the B16A Aswell the SiR I and the SiR II, which are mainly distringuished by either their type of clutch, be it hydrolic or cable..Since the only hydraulic clutches were in SiR II'S..but most SiR II's had cable aswell..And their HP #'s The SiR I had 160..The SiR II had 170..As for the B16B..You got that right..
So you mentioned 5 out of 7......Only 2 off....

Back on topic, I like the Impala, the new SS isn't really the same as the old SS, but it's still a nice Car. I think it's a very good Family Car, the L67 is a nice Engine, and the new Impala is a nice Car if you take it for what it is, a Family Car. More torque than an Accord, probably more than the Altima too, and Camry for sure. A L67 Grand Prix or Regal will waste an Intrepid 3.5L, which I think is about 250hp, So I don't think the SS is all that bad. The only problem I see is the SS badging, then again who knows? It might be just as good as the old SS. I don't remember the Engine Specs of the old B body off hand, but they weighed more than 4000lbs.

Shinez, please just drop it. I don't think you realize just how old PR is or how much he knows about what he's talking about, and it's not smart to pick fights with members (especially members that have been here for years). Plus, nobody's allowed to ruin Doug's threads, even though he hijacks mine.

I agree on that PR. thay can delet shinez offa GTP... well, that would be a little drastic, but it would work 
as for the new SS, its LAAAAMEEE... its been years now thatGM has been doing things wrong. this just finishes to prove it. its horrible to boot, the design is dated and the "design tweaks" just make it ore ugly. the engine is a good one, but in a car with such a family sedan manners, its not going anywhere. 'sides, it CANT use SS badges, its an insult to the super sport tradition. but well, then again, it was even in the 70s, with those 305, single barrel chevelles and novas...

GM could do a load of money bringing back the SS name in a car that deserves to use that name. and they could repair their image as the company that the performance enthisiast doesnt like more. after all, they killed the camaro and trans am. the RS300 (or, what is the name? well, that damned pickup) and vette? please. expensiveeee. they need to bring back an affordable V8 rear wheel thing... lez zee what happens with the GTO.

shinez....just chill a little.....I love skylines and some of the crap I say maybee wrong and I appreciate it when people like RazorGTR correct me but one thing I dont like is people shoving it in my face and I'm sure PR doesn't either...so yeah you can try to correct him but try to be nice about it...
