they original had it scheduled for the 20th of december 2011 but for some reason didnt go ahead with it, just hope they dont take to long

usually means an update is coming, probably a fix for things that 2.02 broke and one that fixes the whole unsellable DLC cars issue.

2/6/12 IS on Monday on US! I just hope this isnt a stupid update, and rather a useful one that will fix all the issues. I rather have a working game, than a game with lots of content and working like garbage.

The guys creating new content are likely not the same guys fixing bugs, who are in turn not likely the same guys working on network coding. Common misconception that devs cannot multitask.

I think it'll be a simple bugfix... they'll let us sell the DLC cars, and fix some small bits here and there.

Whats wrong with it? It isn't exactly a light car so don't expect Lotus Elise like handling.

Maintenance is not an update.

Updates (2.xx) are updates and they're usualy properlly communicated in advance as "update" , maintenances are maintenances.

Expect regular OCD renewal and some new Seasonals at best.

I know that, but lately when GT5 undergoes maintenance, they usually have an update usually 1-2 hours after the maintenance.

I think this will probably be a fix for the online bug. With all the noise that's causing, that's gotta be at the top of PD's priority list. Personally, I don't really care as I hardly ever race online, but it definitely needs fixing.

Don't expect DLC till March. That being said, I'm not gonna cry if it is.

I know a 2 month schedule for DLC was mentioned by some PD employee at some point. But I think they're shooting for monthly instead. When the first DLC pack was released in December people said the same thing: "expect DLC 2 in Feb", but no, DLC 2 came out a month after DLC 1.
This certainly could be a DLC update. But if it is, we'll know by tomorrow or Friday with a post on the PS Blog. I'm expecting just a patch, but I wouldn't be surprised if DLC gets announced by week's end.

What a great Tuesday that would be though. The Simpsons Arcade not only FINALLY getting a home console release, but Plus members getting it for free. GT5 DLC on top would be spoiling me.

I totally agree. 👍 My figures are fully crossed. Imagine Pikes Peak coming along too, like how Red Bull said it was in GT5. Maybe PD was saving it for the GT Classic Track Pack.
