Same with the Lexus Racing Concept. WTF I thought German Rules were strict :boggled:

And how unfortunate it's the only premium in the list. This seasonal has really highlighted how much the game is missing a premium German touring car.

Yeah, the BTCC has no british cars in it except Vauxhalls which are essentially Opels

...so what's the Alfa 155 doing in the German Touring Car Championship anyway. "Excuse me Sir, can I see your papers!!!" :)

*Facepalm* Try reading the info of the car in question, that might enlighten things for you. :odd:

I was always losing Eiger with a fully tuned Mercedes-Benz CLK Touring Car '00 at 645 pps. They only tweak I did to win was to change my turbo from High RPM to Mid-RPM then I finally won the race.:)

Good point. Eiger hardly have any long straights. U will need low and mid rpm torque to accelerate well. mid turbo does better than high rpm turbo in this aspect. Closer transmission ratio by setting lower top end speed may also help tho i am not sure if gear change slows the lap time. Greatest help u can get is using race soft. Then the downforce to have more grip during turns and reduce too much torque oversteer. Suspension tuning for better turn probably helps especially if u have increase the hp n the original car balance is changed. I am a total idiot on this tho.

I used the Merc CLK for these events. Was easy!

However, I do use a controller so had a bit of traction control and the driving line on. Manual Gears though :)

I placed second on Eiger at first, went on to do the rest placing first, then went back to Eiger getting myself first.

The nice chunks of money were nice and I got some cool racing gear :) Doubt I will use it though haha

I love this seasonal! Absolutely my favorite of them all at this point.

I started off by doing them in the BMW M3 with a tune that I pulled off of the tune wiki, and then I modified the tune a bit to fit my driving style. I found the races a bit too easy to do with it fully tuned, so I limited the engine power to exactly as high as the fastest car in each race and that's when it got challenging and fun.

I do these races a few times a day either in the M3 or the Audi A4. I'm in the process of tuning up the non 4WD Opel to try them again.

I agree. This seasonal alone pretty much carried me through A-Spec Level 37.

I beat it with every eligible car, and fell in love with the Audi A4. Everything about that car in GT5 is impressive.:)

@ Maxpontiac - I misspoke earlier, I was using the Audi abt touring car '02 not the A4 previously, but after reading your comment I dug it out and I was absolutely blown away!

I grabbed this tune: https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=167606 👍

Tuned the tranny down a little bit and threw a mid range turbo on the car.

This thing sticks to the road like syrup. The M3 wants to fishtail coming out of corners so I have to really feather the gas pedal, but with the A4 I can drop the hammer right at the apex and the rear end never destabilizes even once and I have all aids turned off!

This makes the Eiger Nordwand \ Reverse so much fun that I half expect to have the local PD come up the stairs and take me out in handcuffs.

Can anyone point me to a good setup for the R8 LMS Team PlayStation? Having problems with this car being nasty "loose" under braking & corner exit. Frustrated at at LeMans, I've tried to tighten the LSD and it doesn't help.

I'm no tuner by any means, but try putting your brake bias 8F/2R ... it makes a world of difference with that car, especially if you are using a controller.

THANKS! Very similar to the Formula GT car, very little rear brake.
