Hope the next one will be new however (rally, ruf, very slow cars championship like 2CV beetle.., x2010, alpine challenge, R8 challenge, RM championship, ...)
I like the cars in the OCD by the way

I'm using the FT-86 concept for the Compact car events, it's the first car I came across in my Garage that I haven't used elsewhere.

This is setup as a drift car right? The handling is god-awful.

I'm trying to use a Fiat 500 F '68 for the kart race. Not got better than 2nd yet.
 
Nice to see some classic cars up for sale. I've got most of them already but it'll be nice to get some more. And hopefully I'll have an FGT in a colour I like.

Same here. Always good to have a tuned up set and a normal set of classics. I ruined a few cars like the E-type with too much tuning.

I have a crazy tuned Ginetta, I wouldn't call it ruined but it's pretty far from stock... so yeah, an extra set of these cars are great!

:lol: I loled hard on this one 👍

To all the race cars fans: GT5 doesn't simulate race cars bumps and weight transfer accurately, seems like they give us a sort of default plain physics for race cars, instead road cars are well recreated and each one have its own different behaviour. So if you have a PC give GTR2/GTR Evo a go you won't be disappointed.
 
Looks like some peeps FINALLY got there fix of SE/TT/DT/OCD...and others got more ammo for bitching with lol...

PD never fail to give us all something we love:D:dopey:
 
Welp, this seasonal has nothing better to grind than the Sarthe Ferrari so I won't be doing them. I would buy out the OCD of cars I don't have, but I have them all.

See, that's a logical cool-headed response to this. Not "I wanted good seasonals and a sweet OCD! THIS SUCKS!"

So far I golded the first three events in a modified Nissan March 12SR with sports hard tyres. Been experimenting with a PP level between 380 and 400.

Stock premium Suzuki swift on sports hard can win all except r246 n Tokyo bay for me. Both got second. Given that I am a below average gt driver who could not gold most licenses n expert seasonal, has anyone gold either r246 n tokyo bay on stock swift on ss? Just wondering

Nice, finally some classics in the OCD! Been after a Europa for an age now. An Interceptor huh? Just as well I succesfully traded mine a few days ago... :sly: an E-type and a Ginetta G4 too, nice. 👍 Can finally sell the high mileage Stingray '69 and Elan and acquire some 0 miles versions instead.

Do try it stock. Can be done with sports hard no tune no aid. Close race for me n able to get first for all. R246 will be toughest with peugeot at the front cos straight line speed for cooper is lower even with draft.
 
New seasonal is better than no seasonal in my opinion. I had fun dusting off my Mazda MX-5 07 (premium) last time I used it for the 4 hour Endurance. Fun car to drive.

I'm guessing some of you may have noticed that the Garage restrictions seem to have a glitch of some sort because it shows you cars that are bigger than the size restriction required for this seasonal.

why are you guys after 0 mile cars all the time? do you buy them, and just keep them in your garage, so that they remain 0 miles?

just wondering, as whenever i buy a car, i'd like to drive it.

THIS. I mean if I don't already OWN the car, I'll of course by the 0 mile version. But I'm not going to go through my damn garage and sell cars just to buy them with 0 miles. You get the same effect by going to GT Auto and doing chassis/engine rebuilds.

You're right. I'm the only person in the world who likes to race in a race car.
Thank you for the insight. I'll stop playing the game and use the DVD as a coaster.
I am prompted to ask a questoon though... if gt5 is the wrong game for "race cars," why are there any at all in the game.
I suggest you contact the development team and share your wizdom so in the next update they can do the right thing and eliminate all the race cars from every aspect of the game.
The internet wouldn't be complete without trolls.
