...It has been said many, many, many times before: it is easy to make the game challenging. Swap your Race Softs for Comforts, use a stock car below the PP limit etc etc. Enjoy the choice of cars!
Well said, though I'm really surprised that there are still people out there who continue to flatten the competition and then complain about it - the ball in indeed in their hands.

Technically any race in GT5/4/3 (and the first two also, probably...) can be won by a big margin - there's plenty of challenge out there and I think it's great getting the Tokyo Kart track to play on. It's a shame it isn't selectable in Arcade or Practice modes too - wouldn't mind trying an LMP or Super GT battle on there...:)

As to the garage selecting incorrect cars, I think it's only started doing that recently. It's definitely the length parameters that is slewing the selection. A bit of a pain, but not worth getting het up about.

used my spoon copy Honda CR-Z at cape ring about ran out of battery power only one battery ring left and that was a three laps yes lets all go battery power won by less than .9xx
Don't forget to let off the acceleration occasionally with that one :sly:, coasting around corners will conserve the power.

I only did the Rome track in the Spoon but managed to win it with two bars left - and it only dropped from three before entering the last corner of lap five.

What a dull bunch of seasonals :(

Finished these up today, I tried a different car for every race, under powered, over powered, turbos, different tyres yet I didn't have one race that made me think I want to do that again :(

Maybe GT5 just isn't for you.

I loved these seasonals. Great change of pace from the Ferraris. I you're finding GT racing boring no matter what track or car you use, consider a different game. Burnout Paradise or Split Second are fun games that inject unrealistic excitement, for example.

I saw this and thought... what's more compact than a PDI racing kart? :P

I challenge someone to win all the races in the kart :)

(you have to add ballast to it though)

What's a kart's top speed? Pretty funny idea!

It would be cool if they had races where you were the outlier. Like pickup vs Ferraris or minivan vs roadsters. Even some kind of graduated table of rewards for winning the race with this or that.

a kart can reach 110 if you adjust the gearing but you lose all acceleration so it's not possible really, you just have to leave the gearing at it's original setting which allows 88mph or so, I managed to win the race on the kart track easily (the karts just awesome on here) but I couldn't win at rome (managed 6th  )

I also did the drift trials in a fully tuned, turbo charged VW bus :P
