What a dull bunch of seasonals :(

Finished these up today, I tried a different car for every race, under powered, over powered, turbos, different tyres yet I didn't have one race that made me think I want to do that again :(

Welp, this seasonal has nothing better to grind than the Sarthe Ferrari so I won't be doing them. I would buy out the OCD of cars I don't have, but I have them all.

See, that's a logical cool-headed response to this. Not "I wanted good seasonals and a sweet OCD! THIS SUCKS!"

Grinding is old news anyhow. Pick a 380-400pp small car on sports hard and just enjoy the driving!
Although you should give yourself a bit of wiggle room on tyres or hp for Tokyo - that long straight is a killer

Thought the Suzuka TT was a bit easy, but ss5 is fun if you can leave your R390 road car in the garage!

Rome DT was tricky as the last 2 sectors are not very bendy. Get all your points on sector 1 if you can

I agree, after grinding for two hoirs I won't be going back to these.

I wish PD would do something a little more inventive, Rally championship or Le Mans cars that offer a real challenge..

On Le Sarthe, Suzuka etc..

Are any of these worth grinding for cash or should I stick to the Supercar Le Sarth race?

If you want to break the monotony then yes. But if you are just in full grind mode then stick to the ferari or supercar. But given that we have had tripled/doubled credit and experience points rewards for some time now, we should have all got what we want in terms of cars or experience by now.

I have to think it takes almost no time at all for PD to make a seasonal. All they do is randomly generate cars by PP and choose a track, then set some regulations for the player. That takes all of 5 seconds.

Down tune your car then it will be a challenge. And fun. 👍

I actually tried using the G Sports FT 86 concept and it was a ton of fun. This all happened after I used the regular FT 86, an RM Cappuccino and an RM Elise.

The last one on the kart track is a fun race if you use a competitive car and its 100k less than sarthe for the same amount of racing time but it breaks the monotony.

I've been blasting around the tracks using the premium Mini. (2007) It's pretty fun, slightly tuned and some weight reductions. All except the last race are fun. I have to really be into it to beat the Tokyo Bay one. Sports Hard by the way.

Side note: i use the 'garage' button to select a car for this seasonal and although the car was stated in the list as qualified to race it doesn't work. Why put it in the list when one can't use it ?
This has happened before, it makes it hard to find a car suitable for a race.
btw: still funny this seasonal, tho. EVEN I found it easy, but using some old banger makes it interesting.

It means one of the qualifications was met. Meaning your pp was low enough, but the car was too long

It's about time PD got their act together and came up with some challenging seasonal events. I means whatws the point in even bothering to race when you can win with 30 seconds to spare??? Its absolutely pointless! GT5 is fast losing its appeal for a lot of people due to the pointless dribbble they keep giving us! Perhaps if they had spent the time making new tracks instead of designing helmets and race suits then that might have been a wiser use of time? I mean seriously.........compared to new tracks and cars who the hell wants suits and helmets? does it really matter what your wearing in a game? not to me it doesnt anyway! rant over

Money? XP?

It has been said many, many, many times before: it is easy to make the game challenging. Swap your Race Softs for Comforts, use a stock car below the PP limit etc etc. Enjoy the choice of cars!

Yeah, I don't care about race suits either, and we'd all like to see some different tracks, but I'm enjoying the seasonals - I'd probably play less without them due difficulty in gaining credits.

At least it gave me a nice chance to try out the Lancia Stratos I picked up from the OCD. :)

It's fun to bum around the new compact seasonal using the neglected H-Shifter on my G25, and noticing the "clutch engaging sounds" of gear shifts. Although, I feel like a noob again, havent shifted manual like that it years. Crashing and spinning out left right and center. (sometimes just trying to get that 5th to engage properly, and forgetting where I'm going) N-N-N-comon 5th dammit!

Also, you know you played GT5 too much when, you have all white checkmarks next to the new OCD cars.. (except for the welcoming Lotus Europa)

I prefer the suits & helmets over new tracks. :)

Only gripe I have about the length is that too many cars have an unspecified length making them impossible to determine if they can be used. I have though taken a few Audis and the BMW M Coupe for these races just to try it out and it was fun.

Man, about time. I'm more excited about the time and drift trials than anything else. Big money from those events. :D

Just remember that it's a million credits each for gold (includes silver and bronze), so those of you who have a lot of credits need to spend some before playing. I forgot I was nearly maxed out and only got like 60K. That's a free Enzo I threw out the window. :(

One way to find out is click on requirements I believe and then you can go to your garage from there. It should show the Cars you own that meet those requirements.👍

But i've got more cars who meet one qualification yet THEY arn't in the list.
Wel i know what's the problem with some of the cars now, hehe.
Of all the issues this game has, this one isn't big.
Thanks for answering.
