Currently 170th in the GT-R ... not really going to make any more attempts though. Just point it and stomp on the gas.
Rattled through these early this morning with the DS3.
I hate being critical of PD given they've provided me with a game I absolutely love, but I do wonder sometimes if they bother testing the events before launching them
GT86 is almost OK, just a bit pedestrian. The HSV is just so rubbish to drive... understeer, understeer and more understeer. But they pale alongside that uselss bag of 🤬 🤬 GTR... did no one at PD bother to test it?
A shame, as these challenges could have been enjoyable with better cars.
Oh, and while I'm in the mood for a rant... why do the leaderboards take ages to update FFS?
agree with everything you said except your remark about the hsv. im a ds3 player and had never driven the hsv before. i can vouch that it handles great even without a tune or any aids whatsoever. try keeping the revs at max, that way it wont understeer that badly. however low revs during a corner in first, second maybe even third will result in understeer or spin.

You're part of the 1% that considers the HSV-010 to be a poor car, where the majority of people that have played the seasonal seem to consider it one of the best Super GT cars they've driven, myself included. Just so you're aware.
I think 99% of people are confusing traction with handling
The HSV has no balance to it's handling... it's 100% reliant on front end grip.
When a car starts to understeer (push), you want the front to tuck when you ease the gas or use a bit of brake to get some weight shift and unload the rear... the HSV just continues to plough onwards. It doesn't rotate at all. That's not good handling IMO.
The HSV was a hard one to get gold on. Took 20+ attempts. I hate how that car handles. Never buying that DLC for it. Only 10000th in the world.
