Hello, I'm Alex, from Scotland. (Not the UK )

I have played every GT in the series, but only recently bought a PS3. I have been driving sims with a wheel for a while. Mostly GTR2 , and rFactor.

You can check out a few of my laps in my youtube page here However my Graphics card died on my and i cannot play them any more. So i stuck in gt5 and had some fun with that. I'm nowhere near as good as some people on here, but i was nowhere near as good as some of the people in GTR2 when i started

Hi guys. New guy here I'll try to make this NOT sound like a personal ad

Name is Joe, I'm in Pennsylvania and have been hooked on the GT series since GT1. I'm not usually the fastest guy on the track but I race as clean as possible. That's sort of how I found you guys! I talked to a clean racer a while ago who had GTP in his name and he mentioned this site. I just can't remember his name. I run with a G25. I'm pretty much a noob to the whole online racing thing but have played GTR2 in the past.

Toys in the garage are an 05 Civic EX SE (wife's car- won't let me autocross it,) 01 ZR2 pickup on procomp Xterrains (yep, it gets dirty,) and my long-tracked Arctic cat ZR600 in the shed is my winter toy. I also have access to my father-in-law's 70 Triumph spitfire....which took about 10 years of marriage to his daughter.. lol

I have a little bit of real world track experience being a graduate of the Mid-Ohio School's Acura high performance driving course. (BEST... DAY... EVER) and am actively looking for a 92-96 Corvette for an autocross toy (or maybe a high mileage early C5)

I just made my PSN id GTP_grand_sport (yeah, I'm definitely a corvette guy...) and will post my qualifying time in Prologue as soon as I get my G25 driving station rebuilt. My wife HATES the ugly one I built out of old pressed wood furniture.... so any home-made ideas are welcome.

I said exactly the same thing to myself when I joined the WRS and ended up buying a G25 some weeks later.

Yes, you should work more on your time, please put in a reasonable effort. And please refrain from sharing specifics regarding your effort in the forums, or in private conversations.

You are correct, clutch is prohibited due to unfair advantage to those who don't have it.

My name is daks. I have just started playing GT5p last week after a long lay off. I'm going to have a bit more time on my hands for a while so decided to try and get back into GT.

Submitted my qualifier time the other day and was placed in division three gold. Was quite surprised and pleased, as i thought i would probably be placed in division five bronze. Looking forward to competing in the WRS, and must say it's very friendly in here. Thanks for having me.

You have to press the (I think) square button during the replay to view your splits.
If that is the wrong button then it's one of the others.

The current format is with GT5 Prologue but if you would like to use GT4 then click the link and look at the archives.
Be sure to set your display options (at the bottom of the linked page) to the beginning and you will be able to see what we did with GT4.
It's a few pages back but there are many combinations from years of the WRS.

Or buy Prologue and join in until GT5.

GT4 WRS No longer exists.

There ARE still some GT4 race series, located here.

Hey guys, Names Darren/Daz/DC/Whatever really.
Its been about a year since I've been on the forums.
I'm completely new to the WRS, though I used to run my own little race (back in the day on gt4)
I've finally got GT5P so I thought I'd try enter this to get back into things.
I submitted my Qualy time & got put in Div 4 Gold.
Was kinda happy seeing as I've not really had time to play GT5P yet.
Anyway I shall try my best to compete each week & hopefully work my way up.
