Hello,

My name is Jeremiah Fyffe. I created a new profile today :: GTP_EXE :: and hope to join all of you here in the weekly challenge in the weeks to come.

I ordered the collector's edition GT5 yesterday and can't wait for November 5!

BTW, any word on an in game video recording function? Maybe automatic youtube uploading?

What i was wondering about: If you submit your time via PM, i.e. for week 94, its necessary to send your Division, Name & Final lap time. Has that changed, or have i missed something? Because on the WRS Leaderboards i even see the split times. How you get those, or do we have to send them too?

You can post the splits in the week 94 thread of wrs (if you want) but you send the overall times via pm.

You just put your division, your controller and your version of the game in your signature. And if you want to join week 94 you post you current splits in the thread and the fetchbot puts it in the leaderboard with your username, division and controller. You will find all the information you need in the thread of week 94. (BTW your english is better than mine) But you can understand it, right?

We post our splits in the race thread through the week, so people can see if they are on pace. At the end of the week, when you have a time you are satisfied with, you submit your time in PM. The total lap times are only revealed in the results thread, after the deadline for the week.

You need to save your ghost replay, and then watch it using the "View Replay" feature from the main menu of the game. You'll be able to see your splits when watching your replay, along with verifying that it's clean.

To verify it's clean, you'll want to watch from the behind car view, by pressing X, and then the "Select" button, as many times as needed, to get to the appropriate view.

You can watch from the front of the car, if needed in a particular section, by holding down the L1 trigger.

I have officialy sent in my submission for GTP's WRS. Ihope to get a good Division spot. I do know that my lap was extremely nervous, I don't know why I felt so pressured. I'm sure no one hit Division 1 Gold through the submit! :lol:
Phew, glad that's over. Hope to be competing soon and thanks to EDK for helping me with the submission process.
 
Good luck. WRS is great for improving your driving. You"ll be shaving off the seconds in no time.

Welcome! You do know you don't have to submit for week 95 for another week? Most people use the whole week to get better, and improve, then submit. Just making sure you know. Good luck!
 
Well, I felt like doing it now, just to get it over with. I wasn't looking for anything amazing, plus with school coming for me soon I had to get it done early.
 
I have been with GT since GT1. I will be using GTP Michael, my name, for GT5, earth is kind of awkward. Why did I pick earth? Well who knows what I thinking 8 years ago/younger

Im running the WRS to get sharp for GT5. I think Im an OK driver, but like everything else in life Im a jack of all trades and a master of none.

Hello new to WRS and I'm sorry but I'm not understanding the splits.

After I save my best lap I go into view that lap and it shows me the splits where?

EDK’s explanation is spot on trk, but to try and help, do your lap then save it as your best lap replay (save best lap) not save replay

Go to quit and back to main menu (My Page) go to Replay.

Select your replay to view

When the replay starts press the square button the map and clock will appear and your best lap time will now be on screen.

Keep watching the clock in the centre of the screen, as you get to the 1st split timing point the slpit time will appear just under the clock.

Thats all there is to it.

To change the view to check that your lap is clean or not, just press the (X) button for bumper view, then the select button 3 times to get the rear car view.

Hope this helps anybody that is not to clear on how to save and view their replays.

That's not a ferrari. That was his best lap in the WRS this week in the Tamora. But I agree with you about the pics.:lol:
