Hi guys. Just submitted my qualifying times and waiting to see if I get in. This may be a little premature, but I was wondering how the time submission for the actual events work. The current event, Week 53, states to submit your times in the following format:

Please submit your time in the following format on a single line:
Time: X'XX.XXX
(Example-) Time: 1'10.100

If you submit your time in this manner, how does the fetchbot know what your split times are? Or is this just a generic format for the time entry itself and we are to submit our times in the same way we submitted our qualifier including the split times?

Thanks in advance, and I can't wait to race with you guys.

You need to race with your GTP_ PSN account. The same one you use to submit the qualifier and the same one that will be listed in the registry once your qualifier is processed and your division assigned.

For the individual time trial events you only submit your final lap time to the fetchbot via PM (prior to the deadline). Your splits you can submit during the week for the leader board using the event thread. As your times improve during the week you post new splits to the thread (via new posts or if a frequent update you can strike your old splits and add new ones to your post). Fetchy will parse the thread every 15 minutes and grab your splits automatically.

We use the PM system to submit the final lap times to keep them secret until the results are all in... and you also don't post your final sector split to the thread (those are also secret until the deadline).

Hi all, the name is Mario, I'm from Portugal and as far as WRS is concerned I'm a total (and for most unknown) newbie, I guess I have a lot of reading to do around here.

Having litle time to play, I usually take whatever opportunity I have to do some racing, offline or online, never invested much in Time Trials, and that would explain my total absence from WRS events to this date.

However, a few days ago I noticed a post by Jordan in the main page that had this subtitle:

GTPlanet’s popular time Weekly Race Series expands from time trial events to online racing!

So ... after some time with this litle piece of unsettling ;) information making its way through my litle slow brain ... it surfaced that maybe I could shake off the rust and at least try to enter a few events and check how far back I'll end the races :D

About me I will say this.

I am a lousy tuner, always in need of help (NLxAROSA was usually my saviour in the GT5P era :D )

I usually drive without any aids.

I like long races

I like night racing

I like wet racing

I like classic cars

I'm a wheel driver (G25)

And that's about it :)

Hello everyone,

My name is Frank, living in Belgium, and just like many of you, addicted to GT5. I want to extend my frontiers by picking up some fair and clean online racing. This seems to me 'the place' to do so....

Greetings.

What's up guys, I registered here pretty much solely to join the WRS, and I already seem to be off to a rocky start :P

I submitted my qualifier with my traditional, non GTP prefix PSN account. Guess I didn't read the rules and everything very well. Oh well, hopefully it doesn't take too much work to create a new account and get up to level 12!

Hopefully my lap times don't wind up being as slow as my thought processes.

Hi everyone!

I'm Aguilar from Portugal
it's been a while since i was searching for a community like yours!

Great job everyone, and keep up the good work!

Cant wait to start racing with you all!

Ser u at the tracks..

Some of you may know me from the recent 3D3 Racing Marathon. I couldn't keep up with most of the racers but still had fun.

Just wanted to get my name out there and will hope to be participating in future events.

I am yet another Belgian enjoying GT5.
Coming back from my holiday I was pleasantly surprised to be appearing in the official registry, so I just posted my first splits.
I hope I am able to compete every week.

Welcome to the WRS 👍

Hi, I've submitted my qualifier a few months ago but never participated in any WRS Events.
I signed up for the 2 next WRS online events and I think i'll try to beat my DS3 opponent, Biffy, for the current offline Hotlap.

I'm Will (Guillaume but I really don't like my french first name). I'm french so don't pay attention to my awful grammar. I learn english since 8 months about.

I was one of the main admins of the WSGTC season 3, maybe the biggest online championship on gtplanet. I don't know why and how i become one of the admins since i didn't know speak english very well. Maybe guys had trusted me. ;)

I'm also a PURE member and i race in all PURE series (i try).

Welcome, Litchi, it was fun trying to keep up with you tonight. And your English seems great, to me.
