I've bought every game since the Gran Turismo franchise was launched, including some from foreign territories I can't even play, and multiple editions of the same title, I've bought rare demo discs from eBay, I bought a PSP just for GT:PSP, I bought a tablet just because of the course creator, I rearranged two rooms in my house to fit in a rig I made for my steering wheel which I bought just for GT, and I also only bought a PS4 to play GTS. I've met at least 2 GT Academy winners, and hung around for hours at the Nürburgring paddock to try and meet Kaz at the 24 hour race. I've bought GT books, GT clothing and other GT memorabilia, and I've collected GT point-of-sale materials from games retailers. I have stacks of lap data logged in spreadsheets and MoTeC data files that I've spent hours and hours and hours going over. I've still got the notes I made after figuring out every car code when hybriding GT1. I've spent well over a hundred hours generating decals for other people so that they can enjoy this game more... and over the last 20 years I've not bought a single other comparable racing game...

... I am a loyal fan, you don't speak for me, and my face remains very much un-slapped.
You forgot to say that GT Sport is the eighth Wonder of the World and Kaz is God.

Buying track content would create matchmaking issues in sport mode, with people that only had certain tracks. It would break up the pool of players to much I believe.

I'd love Spa and La Sathe as I think they would be great to race on in sport.

It would indeed so that would make anyone who wants to continue to do sport mode to buy the DLC or PD will just not put those tracks in the rotation in sport mode. They could let everyone still race those tracks in Sport Mode when they come up but you just don't own it to race at anytime though that option is very unlikely.
It's really no different from the people who buy the extra map packs in COD vs the ones who don't.
No one really expects all the future content to be free. Would be nice but very unlikely.

You are American aren't you? :) :D
Yep.

Based on.......?
1. Precedent- versions of both cars were in GT6 as "Touring Cars", and Chevy will sell you a GT4 Camaro. We've seen Sonoma and Laguna in previous versions of the game.
2. Optimism. I'm really enjoying this game, and want more real world circuits. My driving style suits FR cars, and I like both cars.

Where is my comment on the quality of a competitive product? All I said is that I hadn't bought one, which is true, and implies nothing about their quality.
Last question: you haven't bought any other games comparable to GT because you didn't want to, or because they don't exist?

Just because they are free, it does not mean they can push us some crap every now and then. I want real racetracks, not fake ones. I was expecting some more.

This is one of the most spoiled and entitled things I've read

Did you not notice that PD gave us 50 cars over a period of 4 months, with a new track/new variation each month?

Honestly..this fanbase

Basically didn't want to... I don't game that much so I tend to stick with franchises I know, and even though I don't game that much I do tend to deeply invest my focus in the ones I do play. I've no issue with people that are loyal to other franchises, or people that spend lots of time with multiple franchises in the same genre... but it's not for me.

I really like the new Dragon trail Gardens track :) Not too long, not too short, curvey parts and some tight spots, just how I like it  -that’s what she said, badumtss-

The new Supra is pretty good too. I like how it doesn’t have any weird issues with decals in the livery editor, like for example the KTM Xbow, that car is a nightmare....

Would like a couple more real world tracks in the game by now but generally think the updates have been pretty good. I don’t mind fake tracks either as we’ve been racing the real tracks on other games for years so it’s nice to have a change!

It would be good to hear more about the fia season now though, I know they have the event planned but doesn’t give much info. I hope its not the case that one week they just take the would test out and start it needs a proper unveiling!

Blue flags, eh? Does that mean I won't get a yellow flag penalty for lapping a back marker that's sitting in the grass, probably AFK?

Seriously though, have they cleaned up the yellow flag penalties? Haven't played in a long time.

But Cods matchmaking does suffer for it. The multiple dlcs fragment the match making causing worse and worse connections the older the game gets.

Hopefully we will get the staple tracks of gt in due course, for free.

The new toyota is a great car apart the very peaky engine with all the power and torque that come all together. Very dificult to manage out corner with the stock LSD settings. Good luck :scared: everybody.
The new dragon track layout is very nice and easy to catch , for sure some good fun future moments there.

So what are you doing here, apart from trolling?
I'm not trolling at all. I'm complaining about how much condescending the Gran Turismo fanbase can be.
I don't have a problem with GT Sport. I like some aspects of the game (graphics and livery editor, if someone cares). Yet for me it still is the worst GT ever made. What I don't like is that whenever someone makes any criticism towards GT, people start to criticize the person, as some did with @Divaldo some pages ago. Or call them "trolls" or "toxic" like just did to me. Like blind followers who chose to ignore all of the game's flaws and try to humiliate every person who brings those flaws to the discussion.

I agree with you. Even if they are going to be free in future updates as crazy as this will sound I will and would pay for the opportunity to have earlier access to some content rather than waiting 3 to 6 months until its free content.
