I'm not trolling at all. I'm complaining about how much condescending the Gran Turismo fanbase can be.
I don't have a problem with GT Sport. I like some aspects of the game (graphics and livery editor, if someone cares). Yet for me it still is the worst GT ever made. What I don't like is that whenever someone makes any criticism towards GT, people start to criticize the person, as some did with @Divaldo some pages ago. Or call them "trolls" or "toxic" like just did to me. Like blind followers who chose to ignore all of the game's flaws and try to humiliate every person who brings those flaws to the discussion.

Criticism is normal. Hell, I get angry with those that defend GT at all costs.

The “slap in the face” comment though? I called it out because it sounds dumb.

 Are you even trying?
Let me correct myself: I don't have a problem with GT Sport's lack of cars and tracks. But I still think the game is a joke because PD continues to put effort into the wrong places. What is more important to a racing game, having dynamic weather or having a thousand places to photograph the cars?

Your general criticism seems to be the sports mode and since you prefer gt4 and I would guess anything but racing against others online. I can understand why you might not like gts. But at the same time your crappy attitude towards those that actually like the sport mode and as a consequence also the game is immature and borderline trolling,

Although I still play online with lots of friends, I do prefer offline racing, and that's why I prefer GT4.

Then I do apologize if I have offended someone.

Can you someone please tell me what kind of car this is and why did I win it as a gift this morning???

Please no. Once a troll ruined my race at Suzuka because he waited everyone to pass him and he rammed me at the Spoon Curve. I was also first before that, and he bullied me and other 3 drivers for the rest of the race and I finished 4th.

Unfortunately we can't rid the world of these people.

I never knew we turned to ghosts till I watched a replay. I had a race where I ended up getting lapped, I just pulled off line and let them through which of course lost me heaps of time but that's just how I roll.

We had that, remember? Didn't work lol
Idiots would wait for leaders and crash into them. Ghosting back markers was a great idea.
I never knew it was like that. But I'll always try and be a good sport no matter what but I can't speak for others.

Just my 2 cents on this... I didn't respond to Divaldo because he doesn't like the game, I responded to him because the implication of what he was saying was either a) if you don't think the game is a joke and are not offended by the update you are not a loyal fan, or b) if you are a loyal fan then you must be offended by this update and consider the game a joke.

... that's not really a valid standpoint to have or a defensible statement.

Had he said, "I'm a loyal fan, but this game is a joke and this update is like a slap in the face" I'd have probably scrolled right by without a thought.

You should read some of the lobby threads here. I am certain that lots of fun can be had online with GT planetets.

Like you I preferred offline and just racing against myself and a silly AI. GT sport changed me, now I race against other GT people some stupid some very cool. But I have immense fun and lots of frustration.. Screw the ratings, race clean and hard and when **** gets to annoying take your favorite car to nurburgring and race your friends list

„Fake“ tracks have been a thing in GT since ever btw

I´m aware of it, but you need to see the other side. Take a look at the tracks roster that we had in Gran Turismo 6. Laguna Seca has been in the game since the second edition and not it is no longer available. We used to have La Sarthe, Indianapolis, Silverstone, Fuji, Motegi, Daytona, Spa Francorchamps, Red Bull Ring, and so on. There was a mix of real and PD-created tracks, which was very fine. Nowadays, there is only Nürburgring, Monza, Mount Panorama, Suzuka & Tsukuba in addition to Interlagos.

I don't think the concept's Gazoo livery is their best work. Compared to the FT-1 Gr.3 it looks half done.

Yeah, I'd like to see the ratio of circuits to be more like 80% real, 20% fantasy. I'd even be willing to pay a premium to get tracks like Spa earlier.

Putting Monza in the game also makes me question their development process. It's been very divisive in GTS, being a mostly poor experience in Sport mode. Do they decide on a track, build it out, then do some testing at the end and realize they've made a track that's a SR nightmare? If given the option to vote, Monza (unless it was the historic version) would've been near the bottom of my list, real or not. It's a shame that, due to the slow pace of track updates, we were given that early on in GTS's lifespan instead of Spa or La Sarthe.

A little disappointed the classic tracks aren't added (yet). Personally I already am happy with the selection of cars now. Just not enough tracks...Hopefully PD has some surprises on their roadmap (pun intended)

Guys,

Do you see any possibility of joining the two Dragon Trail tracks?

What would be the junction location?

Have you been able to visualize in which position the two clues lie in relation to each other?

I have been trying to look for that myself. There are a couple of options they could do, but one that could use if PD wants the all parts is having the two 90 degree corners connecting of the Garden circuit somehow connect to the front stretch and connect it to the final corner of Seaside. Unfortunately, I can't tell if anything major is in the way, or if it is too close to the sea to be possible.

This means the end of the monthly 10 new cars?!:indiff:
Why not a simple post on the playstation blog to explain the future of Gtsport? I can understand that they need more time, it's just a matter of communication. And I'm sure a big part of the GT community expected the usual 10 new cars.

That Supra looks so damn appealing. I moving ever so closely to splashing out on one. Although I wonder how it is compared to the FT-1.

Thanks for the invitation but I have lost all of my interest in GTS. I played it for 2 months, completed the Campaign, started the GT League, played some Sport races, but the game doesn't appeal to me anymore.
The only thing I'm waiting for is the Lamborghini Vision Gran Turismo :D
