Your own conclusions are assumptions as well, so...

After all, there's nothing saying the Supra will be the only content of April's final update. You are assuming that.
Right. I just wouldn't call your reasoning exactly "logical"

I sincerely apologize, but I did not understand at all what you were saying previously.

No need to apologize... my answer was also a bit... abrupt. to say the least... but what I wanted to mark is....

When they´ve changed the logic about Sport mode SR penalization they´ve managed to turn it to worst then before... and that has happened at least twice in a row... (each time they change it.. it get´s worst... the final result and the way it´s accepted, or not, by most of the GTS players...)

No teaser, no announcement... maybe this isn't even 'the April update'.

There's still a few more days, and let's face it, it could be into next month and still be 'the April update'... just late!

My guesses for this one's notes are:

- Improvements to the penalty judgment system.
- Improvements to the driver rating system.
- Improvements to the sportmanship rating system.

For which 'improvements' will surely be a matter of debate :banghead:

Almost inevitable re matter of debate given the diverse real life racing influences people are exposed to from bump drafting Nascar, rubbing is racing BTCC etc and no contact WEC/F1.

Add in the fact gamers will 'game' the game rather than approach it as a sport and its not surprising really there is so much 'debate'.

Hopefully PD can find a good "middle ground" for the forthcoming FIA season.

Well, updates have been regular, so far, and they have followed a pattern regarding content. Adding the statement, by PD, that they would continue releasing more cars and tracks and the easiest conclusion (or assumption, I guess) you can reach is: things will continue, as they are, until further notice.

When a pattern begins to form, people start getting used to that pattern. So, it's good policy, if you're going to change said pattern, to give notice of the fact. Since PD have not said anything about new plans, it seems, to me, more illogical to think there are changes to plans than to think there aren't changes.

Maybe I'm just being too optimistic. Maybe you're just being too pessimistic. We will know tomorrow. However, if PD does not deliver on the same level as previous months (at least in cars, I'm not counting tracks because they are harder to do), I'll have an issue. Not with the lack of content, but with the lack of clarity. Silence instead of a quick notice explaining things would be different for this month.

Mostly about this is: people are dis-informed.,,much more then informed.... and the correct or wrong behavior does not reflects on the way people are penalized or prized for "doing (or not) the right thing"...

That leads to:
- Those who do it wrong and are not penalized or simply penalized as much as those that they "offend", will keep doing it.... more and more...
- Those who do it right, feel more and more stressed on any race and their level of satisfaction is dropping exponentially, such as the level of disapproval and getting more and more revolted with this issue... leading to: some leave GTS or simply racing on line.. others... embrace the "Dark Side"... and also become aggressive on track... sometimes playing like they are Racing Avengers searching revenge.. an all that have created that "bad feeling". and on their way.. also taking some innocent ones...

All this moving like a snow ball going down hill... growing... and growing. and speeding down the hill... :banghead::banghead:

Please let there be new tracks... and not shortened versions of the ones we already have.

Anything else is a bonus.

Ayep. It's like we are long lost brothers or something

Maybe now there isn't a planned road map, the updates will be more free form, so no silhouettes for people to add together and reach a prescribed target of 50 cars by X.

What you mean? By the time Kaz tweets out the silhouettes they are already finished with the update anyway.

At least not until they announce another set of updates like that.

It could also be that Audi and Toyota wanted their new cars to be the showcase of the updates.

For all the debating that's been going on the various threads recently, it's quite hard to find anyone who thinks the last couple of updates have actually offered much improvement. For those who want it strict, it's not strict enough. For those who want it forgiving, it's too strict. For anyone, undeserved time penalties are unsatisfactory.

Anyway, what I was getting at is that I don't think the 'improvements' will be at all sufficient. That's what the :banghead: was for really, not the inevitable debating that will happen whatever comes.

Oh, and that we may not even get the Supra in this update

I really don’t think that we are getting any more cars other than the Supra GR3. They met the March target I think we are on a different path now.

As I said in my previous post i’m Fairly certain that this update is focused on the fia events IMO. I think they have been working hard on the DR system and def the SR system so when the season kicks off it as good as possible. Anyone noticed that the daily’s recently are the ones that harm SR most have featured a lot ie Monza. Gathering data perhaps?

Edit - I’ll add as well that personally I would be happy with just the Supra, I really want more tracks but cars wise plenty to keep me entertained now.

This gross overreaction over "communication" just seems unnecessary when they already told us what to expect and just makes the community look silly and immature.
The lack of any communication and interaction from PD is an ongoing thing highlighted when an update is anticipated. And particularly emphasized when a new game is released, with all the problems that usually entails. But if you are happy having no interaction with the makers of the games you play, no matter what decisions and/or problems they make, and so basically ignored, then PD are the company for you. ;)

If you read the rest of my post you'd understand where I'm coming from with this. They already told us what's going on, what else do you want if there is nothing else? The rest is just speculation and it's honestly on the community, not them.

Uggghhh, why do people keep saying about DTM being in Gr2? Just because they share a common chassis in real life does not make them compatible in the game. When they ran laps at Motegi there was a 4 second a lap difference favouring the GT500s.
It would be like asking for a balance of power for Gr4 to run with Gr3. Ridiculous.

Yes that maybe true, I asked Sam Collins who commentates for Nismo for the Super GT races, and I asked if they had the same downforce, tyres and power would they be the same speed? He said yes.

Then try explaning to me where the DTM slots in? Grp3 is too slow, Grp2 in your eyes is too fast. So when they bring in the old group c cars from the past are they going to be in Grp2? Are Group C cars as fast as LMP1 cars? No Are they as fast as LMP2 cars? No.

What about if they bring in the old JGTC cars and Super GT cars pre 2014? Old JGTC cars are no faster than current FIA GT3 cars. Will they put these cars into Grp3? Not a chance!

Unfortunatly GT has turned this into a problem, and it might be that because its a problem they might not even add these cars into the game.

Will we get track silhouettes in Twitter now?

Here it is, now comes the guessing...

Never noticed that before - great find. You'll notice a couple of scenes that looks so much like Deep Forest.

Deep Forest should (hopefully) arrive tomorrow by the looks of it.
