In Gr.3 the 911 RSR GTE is a good couple of seconds quicker than GT3 in certain conditions.
From what i understand GTE cars have more downforce than GT3 cars, but GT3 cars is faster than GTE cars, tracks with a lot of corners will give a GTE car advantage over GT3 cars, in high speed tracks the GT3 cars would have advantage over GTE cars. GTE cars have no TC, but ABS, GT3 cars have both TC and ABS.

Hunaudières is way to bumpy and I wouldn't bet my money on PD giving us a no-chicane layout :dunce:
I agree, PD is saving times and resosurces (the nordschleife with the surroundings of the 24h event or the absence of the short nurburgring GP, the lack of delays in the final results of the GT league races.. ) so we could forget the 3÷5 layout of the lemans from the previous GT's ...

the Hunaudières is not so good for top speed tests...

SSRX and SSR7 are way better ... ;)

Technically GT3 cars can have more power if you factor bop however vastly superior tyres, suspension and aero allows the GTE cars to best the GT3 in just about all situations. For example in le mans the GTEs were in the high 180s. See the paul ricard results from the WEC test and all the other series, it does however have a lot to do with setup as well of course which we will never really know about so its very hard to do a fair test.

There is no precedent of what's coming when right now, there's no obligation for a car/track pack this month...

No precedent? What have you been getting every month since December of last year? You've been getting, at least, 12 cars at the end of the month, every month. Then PD say they'll continue releasing cars and tracks. Add two and two together and the most logical conclusion is the pattern will continue. A lot of people here have actually come to expect PD not to deliver and that's kind of sad for PD. Then again, they're not a dev with what you'd call a spotless record, in that regard.

As for the rest of your post, PD, if they know anything about management, have plans already much farther ahead. At least they should. And, come on, how much trouble is it to write a 120 character tweet about a significant change in your DLC plan, if you have such a change? This isn't difficult micromanagement. Fans like to be kept in the loop.

Some people here have just gotten so used to being told nothing that it's the 'normal' around here. It shouldn't be that way.

Now, let me clear: I'm not criticizing PD, at this specific moment, because we truly don't know what their plans are, and they've also been more open these past months. However, I am expecting something, other than just a Supra at the end of this month, and it's not an unreasonable expectation. Explained why on the first paragraph. I find expecting nothing to be unreasonable, considering nothing has been said about a reduction in content volume. Again, it's the mentality that 'nothing coming' is par for the course.

Will all that said, let's agree to disagree and wait to see what we get.

The only thing I'm looking forward is the Fix in the Rating System for the Sport mode. Hope it will be better than now. But what we really need are a lot new tracks....real Race Tracks. IMO when you call yourself the real driving sim then you should have a lot real world tracks. I like Tsukuba very much and of course I like Monza. So let's hope that PD will come with a suprise and bring new tracks. My hope is Sebring but I know thats a dream.

I am a pessimist by nature , so I think we will only get the new Toyota GR Supra Concept and i'm not sure I even want it, I fear it will be a new GR. X car and can't be used in GT League :embarrassed:. Custom Race and One-Make is not that fun.

Here it does say that the Supra would be a part of the April update so there could be more content than just one car

No teaser, no announcement... maybe this isn't even 'the April update'.

There's still a few more days, and let's face it, it could be into next month and still be 'the April update'... just late!

My guesses for this one's notes are:

- Improvements to the penalty judgment system.
- Improvements to the driver rating system.
- Improvements to the sportmanship rating system.

For which 'improvements' will surely be a matter of debate :banghead:

If there's a surprise coming besides the Supra , I wouldn't be surprised if it's really more cars. Let's suppose that a few fans didn't want for example another Kart car or Aston Martin DB11 or another car at the last updates cuz they wanted a Acura NSX 91 instead and some rally cars from Gran Turismo games for example. Imagine that PD puts some cars that the GT fans really want in the game. That would be the perfect scenary for tomorrow. ;)

I' d love if some of that would come out... but... I'm almost sure it wont...

Kinda my sarcastic point... in release notes speak, changing S to A+ is an 'improvement' :P

But seriously, they did say that the penalty judgment system was going to get more work done on it. Unfortunately, we are the testers, when we come up against Mr Dirtypants who's figured out some moves the system doesn't catch correctly :(

Your "logical conclusion" is just an assumption. And you know what they say....

Your own conclusions are assumptions as well, so...

After all, there's nothing saying the Supra will be the only content of April's final update. You are assuming that.

I really do think this update will be just for the Supra Concept and maybe changes to the driving rating system as leaked in a previous article, but I am holding my expectations until we see what we got. If I was to do this update though, I would add the Supra Concept and Fuji Speedway. In addition, I would add a new campaign event titled, "Toyota Motorsports Festival."

I think that we are making such a fuss about this issue.. for trully nothing...

I bet my Million Bucks (those I have n GTS.. of course.. :) ) that it wont be more than a simple change of designation. and nothing else!!

Why change the designation for no reason? That seems rather pointless
