Next GT Sport Content Update Arrives March 5, Adds Toyota GR Supra

I know its only 5 cars but PD will try to stretch that out by saying that this is the first game introduction to the new 2019 Supra.

So if you like the new generation BMW Z4 but from Toyota then this is for you.

I do not see the McLaren F1 in Gr1 or 3 at all.

Outside chance of it being in Gr2 but that would be very weird.

Over all quite disappointed with these cars even though I love McLaren. I will never use any of these cars. Should be a 720S GT3 in there. Hoping for a decent new track and bug and server fixes.

PD have for the millionth time shown here how out of touch they are with motorsports.

Realistically speaking, the F1 GTR should be in Gr. 3, as it is actually slower than some modern GTE cars. It would get curb stomped by a Gr. 2 or Gr. 1 car. The fact that it is an actual race car and not a concept gives me hope it won't be in Gr. X like the track day specials.

Also, the F1 GTR makes only 600 hp, which makes it less powerful than the standard F1. It does weigh a little less, due to the racing interior and light weight racing wheels. It honestly shouldn't need any BoP to meet the lap times of the existing Gr. 3 cars in the game, going by real life Le Mans lap times.

They fudge it into GT3 like the 2004 Ford GT.

Its a 6 litre V12 just like the Vantage so they'll BOP it down.

Doesnt make sense in GrX but I'm prepared to be disappointed.

I am thankful that we still get new content, though it'll be interesting to see if the reduced number of cars becomes the trend, or maybe (hopefully) it's just 5 cars this time around because they're adding a couple of tracks, and/or additional layouts too. One can hope.

Yeah the 5 car thing I dont care too much about as long as they tag the pack with a decent track and enough events and content.

But it does feel like this 2nd year is going to be leaner than the 1st.

Just 5 cars but its free so i can't really complain. But some Amazing choises here.
The Only one i am not to excited about is the gr supra. Most excited for Pagani huayra and slr mclaren. But i like the other 2 as well. Pagani huayra could be the new fastest road car in the game but we have to Wait and see. In gt6 it was the fastest road car. It was way quicker than the veyron. It had 1200+hp in gt6 but i doubt it will have that Much in gt sport but maybe around 950-1000 hp is possible

Prediction:

New League events:

- Either a new event for the older Miata, or an expansion of an existing one(s), but allowing entry from either model.
- Some sort of Supra event, similar to the Skyline event.
- Something supercar related, perhaps an expansion to Premium Sports Lounge.
- If the McLaren is placed in one of the racing categories, perhaps an expansion of one of the endurance races?
- One or two other expansions of existing events, adding in tracks that weren't yet available when they were added/last updated.

It's more likely that the F1 GTR will end up in Gr.3 (which I hope it will unless they pull a curveball at us and end up in Gr.2 which is far fetched).

But I am excited because I can't wait for someone to do this livery.

Having taken a second look, I might have a go at creating this one as well. As it uses all the same decal sponsors as the Gulf Davidoff one I put on the 650 GT3, with the exception of the Tokyo Ueno Clinic sticker which I just easily found on upload to GT Sport. Watch this space...
