Next GT Sport Update Arrives July 31, Brings Four (Edit: FIVE!) New Cars

Nice update, not sure how people figure forcing the TC Mazda into Gr.4 wouldn't have just ruined the car though. Works fine where it is, though Gr.X would have been logical as well.

Wonder if the Roadster TC can be upgraded. Could be a new meta for the BMB race if it can reach N300. Not that I grind any more. But for those that do...

I’m really confused over the revived TC cars, especially the N200 classification for the Mazda Roadster. I always thought part of the reason why PD invented the Gr. classes was to better organize their own race modification builds, and now TC is back - among road cars. :odd: :boggled:

It really should have been placed in Gr. X.

Has a vehicle, original or DLC, ever been reclassified to another category since the game was launched? I'm wondering, with the Mazda TC being N200, if the Renault Gordini could potentially migrate to N100.

D-Type baby! Also was not expecting the Roadster Touring Car to be in N200, or for any of those to come back. Though I suppose that's not out of line with the winged ND that was in the beta, or the S-FR Racing Concept. Bet the Roadster Touring Car will be the standout in this update.

No. Though the Aston Martin Vulcan is listed as Group X on the official car list despite being an N class in game, oddly for a non street legal track toy.

I'm happy that the Roadster is in N200. The early betas had a winged ND that was not too far off, even though that one looked more like a street legal time attack car than this

I'm actually not salty about the Mazda TC being categorized as an N200 car. That means more flexibility for using it in higher N-class categories, while still having the option for one-makes and pitting it against Gr.4 in custom races. Just wish there would be additional car filtering options for both lobbies and custom races.

Just saying:
Previous update had five cars, which also includes the Red Bull X2019.

Surprisingly, this one only has four, with the Porsche 930 being the most obvious fresh addition to the installment.

Can this number of added cars in each update go down more lower in the future? Just kidding.
It has four so far, and four... that are below 10,000,000cr in value...

The Jaguar D-Type is a very cool addition. I currently have Cr18.5m and was fully intending to purchase the Ford GT MK IV but I might hold off until I hear a couple of opinions on the D-Type.

I’m afraid the D-Type has what it takes to ask for 20,000,000 cr.

From Wikipedia:

"The first factory production D-Type (XKD-509) was sold at Bonhams auction for £2,201,500 in July 2008. The previous highest confirmed price was £1,706,000, set in 1999.

A 1955 model was sold at a Sotheby's auction in 2016 for $19,800,000."

D-Type is now the older race car of the game?

The Aston Martin DB3S beats it by a year.

Hell yeah gimme dat Porsche 930!!!!

I won't be driving another car in this game never again LOL
My goal is to drive 1.000 kilometers in Nürburgring with this Porsche before driving another car. (Free roam; Time Trial; different times of day; different colors - all black for start; one against one in arcade racing...) I think it will be very easy. ;)
