Chris Long vs Kyle Long this Sunday.

Should be entertaining. Hopefully younger brother gets the better of older brother this time around.

The new week of NFL action starts tonight when two domed teams- one of them doomed- collide tonight in the ATL. NFC South showdown coming up as the New Orleans Saints travel to Atlanta to take on them danged dirty birds- the Atlanta Falcons. My Texans (who will host Jacksonville this Sunday) have been disappointing, but NO can add to Atlanta's disappointment if the Saints beat ATL in their house.

Another Sunday, another chance to knock some heads. Lot of games for today. Tonight's match is the Denver Broncos at New England Patriots. Yep- Peyton Manning vs. Tom Brady. Best of luck to all teams playing today.

"Nine straight losses now for the Texans, losing 13-6 to Jacksonville. You may well make it then when New England comes to H-Town next Sunday. Too bad the NFL season has no Reset button. Too bad you don't get mulligans in the NFL. This is a terrible shame. This is exactly why I don't believe in expectations- you put too many expectations on, and it could set you up for failure. What a sad 2013 season..."

That is exactly what I typed in my Facebook profile after seeing my team fail again. I don't know. The Texans just... it almost felt like they lost their swagger and their character over time. It's like they forgot how to win or know what winning feels like. This may arguably be the most depressing season in Texans history. The losing curse that has snake-bitten the Houston Astros somehow spread to the Texans.

Okay. My whining is over. How did your team(s) day go?

Jets get blown out again. Chiefs lose 2 in a row, Panthers pull rabbit out of hat and win.

Dolphins are ****ing ******** morons. Can't stand watching this team. So frustrating.

At least it wasn't as bad as last week. But at least the Panthers won I thought Mia was going to beat them but thanks to Mike Wallace they won.

Donovan McNabb-itis infects the Packers, who fail to realize that there's only one OT period. Tie game with the Vikings.

Cardinals become 2nd NFC West team to blowout the Colts.

49ers at Redskins TONIGHT!

Two coasts collide among two NFC teams. We got the NFC West's San Francisco 49ers at 6-4, and they're going far east to play at the 3-7 Washington Redskins. This one may end up being a possible beat down in favor of the boys from San Francisco. In our nation's capital (or more specifically, the city of Landover, MD), who'll come out on top tonight- the tough 49ers, or the not-so-ballin' Redskins?

San Francisco is favored on the line, as the line favors SF by 4. Good luck to both SF and WAS tonight.

Maybe something happened after the 2nd game of the season to the Texans and it's actually the Astros and their farm system that's been secretly playing in their uniforms since then? 💡 Don't know how else to explain their season.

Finally! A Thursday of NFL football that matters! Happy Thanksgiving!

Three games are coming up:
* Green Bay Packers at Detroit Lions
* Oakland Raiders at Dallas Cowboys
* Pittsburgh Steelers at Baltimore Ravens

Enjoy some football today! Good luck to all of your teams this weekend.

So here's the rundown from Thursday:

* It was 40-10 in Detroit as the Detroit Lions smacked around the Green Bay Packers at home.

* Dallas reportedly came back from 14 down to win 31-24 against the Oakland Raiders in Dallas.

* Baltimore won 22-20 at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Hope you all enjoyed some Thanksgiving NFL football. I saw most of the first half of the GB at DET game. Couldn't believe just how much both teams had butter fingers (and I'm NOT talking about the candy bar). There were a whole lot of turnovers from what I saw from this game. "Megatron" and Reggie Bush were solid, though. Detroit eventually got it together and smacked Green Bay.

Speaking of getting it together, I'm probably not expecting that once my Texans lose to the Patriots Sunday afternoon. But I do hope they at least get back to winning Thursday night at the Jaguars. Yep- short week for my Texans. Last year, we had to go to Overtime to beat not only Jacksonville at home, but also at Detroit on Thanksgiving 2012. Let's see how this weekend goes. The Monday Night match this week is New Orleans at Seattle. One GTPlaneteer would be most interested in this one...

Good luck to all of your teams this weekend.

Whether your team has a strong chance or no chance, hope your team kicks some butt on the field. It's December- time to make that playoff push if your team(s) is/are still in it.

Good luck to all of your teams.

Dolphins blow out the completely ineffective Jets. At this point the team pretty much should go winless because they need a new O-Line, at least 3 WR, a CB and a Safety.

Ten. Straight. Losses. I expected the Texans to lose today, but I didn't expect it to be so entertaining. We just had major deficiencies trying to pin down New England's passing game. It almost felt like the Texans were GIVEN the rank of best pass defense because Tom Brady picked us apart. Okay. Granted it was Tom Brady, it was still pretty sad not to make any real progression towards pinning down New England for good. We were up 17-7 at the half, and end up losing 34-31. Case Keenum STILL winless as a starting QB.

Not that it matters, but here's the rest of our schedule:
12/5- at Jacksonville
12/15 - at Indianapolis
12/22 - Denver
12/29 - at Tennessee

How many more wins for Houston will there be with this closing schedule? Even if some of these teams rest their starters for the postseason? Damned f:censored:ing shame of a season 2013 is for Houston.

Dolphins offense was still pretty pathetic. It should've been like 52-3.

I know this sounds crazy but I hope the Jets lose the rest of their games so they can get high pick. They need a new offense.

From a team that finally has broken through and a would-be playoff contender... to being in the hunt for a 1st Round draft pick? Damned disappointing. I don't really believe in "you are what you record is." Saying that your team is sorry often means you find every way to fail. The Texans are much better than their record indicates. And it isn't like we're losing by more than a touchdown with regularity. I'm just upset as hell about this time. Not once have I thought we were going to be any kind of Super Bowl lock this season. I never make predictions that a team will be incredible and have that easy road to the postseason. Before you can be a playoff team, you have to make the playoffs; and 2-10 don't usually qualify you as a playoff team. I've already had to see my Houston Astros go 51-111 this past season in Major League Baseball. I'm watching the Houston Texans suffer their longest losing streak and almost have a chance at tying their all-time worst record of 2-14 (the 2005 season) if we fail to win again this season. The best the Texans can finish is 6-10. I'm f:censored:ing sick of my beloved teams losing all the damned time. This bulls:censored: is p:censored:ing me the m:censored:f:censored: off.

On the other hand, there were some fans on Twitter who actually praised the Texans for keeping the game close and playing well despite the loss to the Patriots. I'm on that same side, and obviously upset we still lost.

That was just a rant I wanted to unload on here. One good note I wanted to make is that Case Keenum got his first rushing touchdown during the NE at HOU game earlier today. It still doesn't stop the sting of the longest losing streak in Texans history. Almost like God (or some other deities or heavens) hates Houston sports so much that the Astros' losing curse also stymied the Texans. So what's next- my Rockets? The woes of being a Houston sports fan these days...

I know that feel. Yes, the Reds have won 5 championships (I was alive for the 1990 one, but only 3 at the time), but should probably have more than that considering they're baseball's oldest team. The Bengals are 0-2 in the Superbowl. But Cincy teams seem to be snakebit when it comes to the playoffs, like a cat with yarn. They just tease you, only to ultimately fail before going anywhere. Since 1995 (when the Reds did manage to get past the first round), The Bengals and Reds have gone a combined 0-8 in the first round of the playoffs or wild card games. Or they've just completely sucked (1990's Bengals).

Saints at Seahawks TONIGHT!

Seattle is a beautiful city... as long as you aren't wearing colors of another team. The New Orleans Saints are going to be given some Pacific Northwestern hospitaliy by the Seahawks. The Saints will be a LONG way from home, but will they return to the Dirty South with a win? Or will Seattle stand strong with another win?

The line for this game favors SEA by 4.5 tonight. Good luck to both SEA and NO.
