Oh my god ESPN shut up about this scrub Incognito and talk about the Bears-Packers game.

Let the Dolphins and the NFL handle it. Freaking TMZ over here.

Oh and Brett, Forte saw your post and delivered.:lol:

Richie Incognito is the kind of guy that goes to a bar in gym shorts.

In gym shorts? Yes there is. In only gym shorts? Come on, man.

If you picked Chicago to beat Green Bay, you were right! These old rivals saw the Chicago Bears leave Green Bay with a 27-20 victory. Green Bay was favored by a lot, but it was Chicago who told the betting folks to shove it. Congrats to your Bears, sumbrownkid! 👍

If your team has played about eight games so far, how about some mid-season assessing?

2-6 should NOT be the record a team with great expectations should have. Maybe 6-2, but not 2-6. So is the way of the 2013 Houston Texans. Those two wins weren't exactly pretty- being down for most of the game at San Diego on Monday night followed by a big tussle hosting Tennessee. Then... six straight losses- at Baltimore, a should-have-won game hosting Seattle, owned in San Francisco, punked by St. Louis at home, close-but-no-cigar at Kansas City, and most recently... another should-have-won game at home against Indianapolis. Matt Schaub's string of games with pick-sixes has been one big story in the Texans' futility. Case Keenum ended up getting the starting QB job starting with the at Kansas City game. His loose play style has given the Texans some new swagger on offense. Sadly, his efforts- including Andre Johnson's beast performance against Indy recently- all went for nothing as Keenum is 0-2 as a starting QB. This is like a pitcher who pitches an absolute gem but ends up losing because of poor run support. If the Texans are to turn around this season, everybody is going to need to step up, including Randy Bullock shanking all of his field goals which could have helped provide insurance in beating Indy on Sunday night. While unrealistic, if the Texans were to run the table and win out, they would finish 10-6. At this point, the Texans will either need to win the AFC South or somehow get an AFC Wild Card berth to save what little playoff hopes they have.

The real story here in Houston is still with Gary Kubiak's health. It seemed like Kubiak going down helped take the wind out of the Texans' sails on Sunday night. Understandable. However, you still have to play to win as best as you can. And when you're trying to snap a losing streak, any extra losses just makes the process feel even more depressing. The Texans can reverse this. Question is... will they?

And there you go- my 2-6 Texans. Anyone else want to offer a mid-season look at your team (or maybe some others)?

To be honest, the Texans could easily be 0-8 or easily be 5-3.
If that doesn't make sense- I believe they have played 5 games within 3 points.

So far my Jets are 5-4 which is totally unexpected. I had them at about 5 wins total. Geno has looked like a rookie but I like him because he has a thick skin and a short memory. He has made his share of mistakes but he always bounces back. The defense has the most part been outstanding (expect vs Cin). The only thing that bothers me is that they haven't been consistent win 1 lose 1 is their pattern

Veteran's Day weekend begins tonight with the Minnesota Vikings hosting the Washington Redskins. Washington is favored by 1 tonight line-wise.

Stephen A. Smith wasn't exaggerating when he said this situation in Miami will make the Riley Cooper situation look pathetic.

This is bad, really bad.

The more I look into the situation, the more I think it's really just benign. I think Martin knew his goose was cooked. He's no good as a tackle in the NFL. He can't move to guard either because Incognito is at guard. His parents are Harvard-educated attorneys and probably advised him to quit football and take the NFL down with him. That voicemail is 7 months old. It's like he built up a case file to support a court grievance. Get paid and go back to school to become a professional.

The case is turning into a circus. Good, Jets aren't the leaders in dysfunction in the NFC East.

Meanwhile Washington accomplishes something only Pittsburgh had previously done this year.... lose to the Minnesota Vikings. 34-27 the final.

NFL football on Veteran's Day weekend. Spare a thought for our wonderful veterans even while the NFL's finest play in their honor. Enjoy your Sunday of NFL football.

Oh wow. Bengals and Ravens goes to OT. Ihedigbo gifts it.
After getting a pick with 2 min to go, Ihedigbo just gave the Bengals another chance..

Also, Tennessee loses to Jacksonville. Pretty sure that doesn't help their playoff run.

What was it. 3 years ago Houston did the same exact thing vs. Jacksonville and lost with 0:00 on the clock? Same exact situation. I guess they didn't learn.

At one point in the game, I thought that the Bengals that played on those abysmal teams in the 90's had suited up and replaced the real players. We were down 17-0 at the half. It took awhile, but we finally started to come around. Of course, we kept losing momentum with costly turnovers and stupid penalties (at the half, we had more penalty yards than total yards). I thought we had a chance to tie it with 3-4 minutes left in the game with a sustaining drive, but nope, turnover on 1st down. I thought it was over, but we fought tooth and nail to work our way down the field on the last drive. Naturally we would get sacked on consecutive plays, forcing us to spike it with 2 seconds left around the midfield. Then the gift. I couldn't believe it. Of course we still lost in overtime for the second consecutive game, but I was at least happy that we made it to overtime.

We could have opened up a nice lead in the AFC North with a win, though. Unfortunately it's starting to close back up. :nervous:

Seven straight losses. May as well say that any playoff hopes for the Texans are pretty much over unless we *somehow* win the AFC South. Arizona won 27-24 in Glendale. Never mind any sympathies for my team- we're just having a star-crossed season. Can't fault a lack of effort. Losing just seems habitual for the Texans. We've failed seven straight times. May well tank the rest of the season to equal that 2-14 record the Texans once had.

I could go on an epic rant, but the Texans just simply lost this one. At least we forced turnovers, including an interception. Not enough positives to save our hapless season. Three straight home games are coming up. Raiders at Texans next Sunday afternoon. This is a depressing season. :(

[UPDATE] I forgot to mention... Arian Foster will have back surgery and will likely miss the rest of the season. This is one of those deals as a sports fan in wish things just seem hopeless.

At least next year, we will have-
A healthy team
A QB who can throw more then 25 yards
A team REALLY striving for things after being brought to reality
A weeded out fanbase (no bandwagoners)
sonic slushies

I'm very dissapointed and shocked how this team has performed for the season, but it's just like how it was in 2010, and that gave us the best defensive player in the entire league. Hopefully the same well come with next year's draft.

At least we have the Astros to look forward to

That good ol' fashion defensive battle between two very good defenses. A big win for Carolina to go on the road and actually win a close game like that. Cam Newton did not play great but they were able to pull out the win. Hopefully they can beat the Pats next week and help my Jets out :)

The Niners lost 10-9 to the Panthers earlier today. That sucks.

Boy, that was a pleasant surprise. As well as the Panthers have been playing over the recent weeks, I fully expected the Niners to roll past them at home. Looking forward to the game against the Pats next week.

And bad news about Arian Foster, as if my fantasy team wasn't suffering enough already after Randall Cobb's injury a few weeks ago.

Dolphins at Buccaneers TONIGHT!

Sunshine State swagger. Omnis' Miami Dolphins have been discussed ad nauseum with the whole R. Incognito deal. An agonizingly long wait to hit the field again will finally be over tonight. If the Jacksonville Jaguars could finally win a game, so too could the 0-8 Tampa Bay Buccaneers, when they host the 4-4 Miami Dolphins. But no matter who wins tonight's game between MIA at TB, the real winners are our veterans- all the proud men and women who served our nation. Florida pride on the line in this match between these two Super Bowl winning franchises.

Good luck to both teams. The line favors Miami by 1.

Long wait? They spanked the Bengals in the middle of all this.

Sunshine state has zero swagger right now.
