Tampa Bay won 22-19 at home against Miami. So every team has at least one win. Maybe one of the predictions that described it best from ESPN's Monday Night Countdown was (indirect quote) "Jacksonville got their first win of the season, now it's Tampa Bay's turn." Out of sportsmanship, congratulations on the win, Tampa Bay. 👍

I just wanted to post current standings here. You all are pretty certain about other observations, such as Kansas City winning nine straight and my Texans losing seven straight. Mid-November is usually a time to seriously consider playoff races and playoff positioning. There's still hope and anything can still happen. Unless your team is totally out of it, keep willing your team(s) to victory!

Nothing real official, but multiple reports indicate the Texans have unloaded Ed Reed. Ed Reed even got on Twitter thanking the city of Houston and us Texans fans. So does your team need a Safety? If so, Ed Reed is [reportedly] on the market! Don't be surprised if I update (or don't update) this post saying he's officially been cut from the Texans.

The AFC South is on parade tonight to start the new week. The Indianapolis Colts will head down south to take on the Tennessee Titans. If you're a Texans fan, you have to hope TEN wins tonight to keep the AFC South race interesting.

I sure as hell hope Trent Richardson breaks out tonight for Indianapolis. I just don't see it happening though.

I don't know what happened to him. I watched him a few times & it's like he has no vision. The holes & cutback lanes are there but he just always picks the wrong ones.

Trent Richardson is not a good running back. If a team needs a guy to pick up three yards, then Trent Richardson is pretty much the best at that. However, he struggles to gain any more than that.

Indianapolis will be lamenting making that ill-advised trade. Also, Tennessee is now in deep trouble. 4-6 and now could be two games out of a WC spot.

Things are setting up well for my Jets to make a playoff push. A win on Sunday will put a little distance between them & some the teams behind them

They need a win, a Detroit win, a Chicago win, a Cincinnati win, a Carolina win and a San Diego loss + a Miami loss (which can't happen because they play each other).

Well it looks like the Jets will continue their win 1 lose 1 pattern. But I guess that bodes well for next week

The losing continues. 28-23 loss to Oakland. Matt Schaub even came in replacing Case Keenum later in the game. Damn it to m:censored:f:censored:ing Hell... is there ANY hope for the Texans moving forward? Then too, there were some words exchanged between Matt Schaub and Andre Johnson late in the game. This team is a mess. This season is a lost cause. I'm damned disappointed. Oh, and if you're keeping score, that's now EIGHT straight losses for the 2013 Houston Texans. Might as well make it nine when Jacksonville comes to town.

Your boys did much better than mine today, right? Oh... and note to Pittsburgh- stop wearing those damn ugly striped throwback uniforms!

Nope 37-14 lost to the Bills

The Bengals looked Bungle-like in the first quarter against the Browns, down 17-0. But the defense, as usual, ramped it up and did their thing. They had 4 sacks, tipped one punt to make it go only 8 yards or so, blocked another punt and ran it in for a TD, got a fumble 6, and had 3 picks, one of which would have been taken back for 6 but was called back for holding during the return (the INT still stood though).

Ended up a bloodbath 41-20. :D

I feel bad for you, John. The Astros went on that losing streak to end the year. Then the Texans had a good 2 game start, only to fall apart just like the Astros and go on a massive losing streak.

Thank you for winning for the first time since you beat us.

Well the NFC North certainly just got way more interesting. The Ravens-Bears game will be one that will be told to the children of Chicago for years to come I'm sure. Thunder, heavy rain, reports of tornadoes hitting Illinois, and a playoff seeding on the line.

We have to thank the Giants and the Steelers for doing the dirty deed of beating both the Pack and the Lions respectively.

Suddenly, Detroit doesn't seem uncatchable now.

Patriots at Panthers TONIGHT!

Charlotte is basically NASCAR Country. Tonight, two potent teams are ready to go full speed and full throttle against eash other. Tom Brady brings his 7-2 New England Patriots against Cam Newton and his 6-3 Carolina Panthers. Who will take the win, and who will hit the wall?

Tonight, Carolina is favored by 3 at home according to Yahoo! Sports. Don't believe in the line, though because one team may show up more than the other. My Texans were somehow favored by 10.5 against the Raiders yesterday, and guess who won that one. Anyhow... good luck to both NE and CAR.
