It's strange being a fan of another team (Green Bay) then the one in your market (Washington). I haven't heard anything at all out of GB training camp yet.
I'd be mad about more focus on the Redskins, but it is their market, and I'm interested anyway to see if RG3 is good to go. My favorite football moment from last year was when he scored the running TD against the Vikings, because it just seemed like the entire area, after spending months debating on if he was worth the 3 1st round draft picks, united in that one moment.

John Jerry also on crutches for the Fins.

WOOO LOOK AT THAT DOUBLE MOVE BOYEEE!!

It's gonna be a good year. Hopefully the Dolphins can surf the big wave of sports buzz that the Heat created.

Tonight's Fins scrim:

And with that, we've marked the beginning of the Preaseason as this is now the week leading up to the first game. Miami will play the Dallas Cowboys in Canton for the Hall of Fame game on Sunday night, the 4th of August, on NBC.

While I feel bad for Percy Harvin and his injury, it definitely makes losing Michael Crabtree to that ACL tear much easier to handle.

Seahawks almost made the NFC Championship without Harvin, it'll be interesting to see what the 49ers can do without Crabtree.

Further proof if you give someone loads of cash it doesnt make them any more classier. Im not saying he should have tipped $50, I even think tipping $10 and this would have been a nonstory. I tip $3 on $25 takeouts, and I dont make $20,000,000 a year.

It's takeout food. They took an order, and printed a receipt. I give $1 if they're prompt, or $2 if they help me take it out to the car. They don't deserve 15% by default, especially if they served you drinks and waited the table. Millionaires aren't required by any stretch of reality to give away their fortune for the sake of it. If they want to, fine...but it sure isn't mandatory nor smart.

For a few years, I actually was Cris Carter's automotive service advisor. Now, some people would give me all sorts of gratuities for servicing their car, but perhaps maybe 10-20% of my customers would acknowledge that on an average day. I never received a tip, but do you know what? Mr. Carter was a cool cat, never acted like he was above anyone else when he visited, he never asked for special treatment, and he even hung out in the customer lounge sometimes (and completely unperturbed by the other customers, I might add).

Sometimes, a great story is a pretty good gratuity. 👍

It is just an exhibition, but it's time to get our first look at some of the incoming players as well as many of the returning players. These exhibitions don't mean anything towards the regular season. So we're going to see what happens when you put some Dolphins and some Cowboys inside a gridiron football field and have them play a game of football. I probably won't see this game, but at least it's great for football season to return.

Another Hernandez letter has popped up

Pretty excited for the 'Boys game tonight. I don't follow the NFL as much as I do baseball, but I'm still an avid Cowboys fan.

LETS GO DOLPHINS! WOOO! So pumped for the game tonight. Just wish I didn't have finals tomorrow.

Alright! First offensive play of the seaso--

I don't care about the score. I LOVE what I'm seeing out of Dion Jordan and our DEs though. Pass rush this year is going to be scary.

Backup WRs need to catch though. And WRs are going to be kinda useless if the O-line doesn't get it together. Come on, Jon Martin.

Wish I saw better ballhawking out of our secondary. Kelcie McCray and Don Jones, backup safeties with potential are not showing it tonight. Hopefully rookie Jamar Taylor can get out there with Will Davis.

I like what I'm seeing out of the TEs too. And Pat Devlin looks better than Matt Moore. lol.

There's a reason "NFL" means "No Fun League" to some people. Now, the NFL is banning players from excessive celebrations- including making salutes. Making salutes is something my man J.J. Watt does. It also means Antonio Smith can't do his ninja moves after making a nice play. Oh, by the way... J.J. Watt even said he'll be okay paying fines for making those salutes. That's even if the Texans keep drawing defensive penalties.

The NFL becomes even more the "No Fun League" with this. And as you'd imagine, fans are pretty upset at these new changes. What you think about all of this?

I think sports in general are too uptight about that stuff. Happens a lot in the NHL, if you aren't a quiet white farm kid from Manitoba you get called a bad team player.

I watch sports to be entertained, and silly dances and salutes are either mildly entertaining or don't bother me. Making rules about them just seems ridiculous.

I think Goodell needs to get off his rich butt and focus on bigger issues that players interacting with fans. That's what celebrations are for; they get the fans involved. The year with Steve Smith and Chad Johnson battling each other for best celebration was one of the best in recent memory.
