It's like 1998 all over again.:irked:

Still, considering how the team was last year I have no problem with how the season turned out.

Still can't believe how the Vikings/Seahawks game turned out.

Also on another note, I should have known I jinxed it when I said to myself "I hope Joe Buck isn't a broadcaster for the Redskins/Packers game".......

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter and from reading ESPN's Bottom Line, I read V. Burfict could face a multi-game suspension for his actions last night. The call is for a multi-game suspension since Burfict is a repeat offender. Joey Porter (PIT assistant coach) is looking at picking up a fine from the NFL for coming onto the field and getting involved. I'm not sure this is the Hammer of God coming down on the accused parties, but some serious punishment is going to be doled out on these people.

What's wrong with him? There are certainly commentators I don't like but I can never remember who's who.

Other than being highly overrated, he rides on the coattails of whoever he is with (usually Aikman in the NFL) and generally winds up being a homer for a certain team in a game regardless of sport he broadcasts.

Adam Schefter just tweeted that Burfict has been suspended for the first three games of next season.

On a different note, ever since they both made it into the playoffs, I hope Super Bowl 50 is a rematch of sorts of the first one. Here's hoping Packers and Chiefs go all the way! :)

I couldn't guess who'd be in he Super Bowl especially after the Vikings nearly beat the Seahawks. But the Championship games are a bit easoer to predict.

NFC Championship Game: Seattle Seahawks (no bias there :P) vs Arizona Cardinals
AFC Championship Game: Kansas City Chiefs vs Denver Broncos

The NFC Championship game would be a great game if the Cardinals and Seahawks meet. Especially given the Seahawks smashed them in the final regular season game.

Since the Beng...err...Bungles are out, I'm pulling for Denver or KC in the AFC. Can't stand Pittsburgh for obvious reasons and it gets tiring seeing NE go year after year.

On the NFC side, I don't really have any preferences. I was kinda rooting for Minnesota and Washington because Zimmer and Gruden have Bengal ties, but obviously they both lost. Oh well. As for the remaining, Seattle has already been in the last two Super Bowls, so it would be nice to see someone different. I don't really think Green Bay is Lombardi material. If Cam could tone down his celebrations on every single first down, that would be nice (I do like giving the football to kids after touchdowns though). And I have no ill will towards Carson Palmer, so it wouldn't bother me seeing Arizona represent the NFC. Though it is slightly annoying that he already has made it further than the Bengals have their last 7 trips to the postseason (by simply getting the bye week).

NFC, Panthers but if they don't, it would be real nice to see the Cardinals go all the way. Anyone but the Pats or Steelers on the AFC side, please.

^ All the this. Maybe Kansas City can actually win this time. :)

And let the fun begin.

I feel bad for the fans in St. Louis though. :(
I live an hour from St. Louis, I am glad they are leaving so I don't have to watch their games on Sunday anymore and will get a different game to watch.
I've been to one Rams game and that was the playoff game I think in 2003 against the panthers? The overtime crazy game. It was the year the panthers went to the super bowl.

I like the St. Louis uniforms the way they are (excluding those "Color Rush" uniforms from when they played against Tampa Bay last season), but the vintage Rams colors are even better with the popping blue and gold colors like with the vintage Los Angeles Rams. I know a thing or two about blue and gold, since it is my favorite color combination. I think it would be cool to see the Rams sweeten the old school appeal going back to the classic Rams outfits and logos. It would sort of be like when the Golden State Warriors of the NBA went to those modern throwback uniforms they have now or when when the Houston Astros of Major League Baseball went back to the vintage blue and orange colors. So why not make the new age Rams go old school in colors and logos?

And for the record, I do still think the Rams and the Chargers should go to something more vintage for their uniforms. It would be cool if the Chargers also moved to Los Angeles and maybe went back to the Powder Blues and the gold bolts on the helmets. It would be a bit sad for San Diego to lose their team since I like Qualcomm Stadium. When I recall the NFL in Los Angeles, I tend to think of hearing of the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in Los Angeles being the former home of the Rams; but of course, it is the current home of football for the Trojans of the University of Southern California. Maybe for fun, whatever Los Angeles teams materialize should maybe do a Preseason game at the Coliseum for old times.

Ramblings and musings done. I am not on any level to judge the Rams' move to Los Angeles as entirely good or entirely bad.

Eh, game didn't really mean much. No reason to rack up the injuries.

The Browns have reportedly come to terms with Hue Jackson to become their next head coach.

Just what I was worried about and completely expected. Just the usual 🤬 here in Cincy. Keep Marvin and let another great coordinator head off somewhere else. Good luck to Hue in Cleveland though. Hopefully he gets a better chance there than the raw deal he got in Oakland. A single 8-8 year with a crappy team and they canned him anyway.

With how crap Cleveland is, I think 6-10 would be a miracle season next year. If hell froze over and they went 8-8, who knows would happen out there.
