NFL General Discussion

People love hating on the Steelers.

It just wasn't their year this year, can't win them all and the Broncos put together a very solid game so hats off to them.

James Harrison came into my work today which was pretty cool. For such an intimidating guy he's actually very soft spoken in person, I had to ask him to repeat himself when he was telling me what he wanted done to his car because he was so quiet. Left a nice tip too so he's a pretty cool guy in my book.

Did you ask him if he really did cause the blackout in SF?:dopey:

I'm sorry Cowboys965, but the Broncos won't win, unless the Broncos get to Rothlisberger early. Tebow sucks, I'm sorry but he didn't win the games. If you think Tebow is great you are delusional. He's as overhyped as Jamarcus Russell was.

:sly:

Are some of you ranting the Overtime rules just because the Broncos won? Well, what if the Steelers won that game the way Denver did? Just asking...

Overtime is lame when you can win it all with just one posession. I'm not a Steelers fan or a Tebow hater. I just think that it's a shame that you can have an overtime period with only one team getting a chance to touch the football.

Russell had a few good games with the Raiders. Anyway, Villain, let me elaborate on what my gameplan would be run run run. But if I'm Smith and see Davis covered by a linebacker or another big mismatch, I'm audibling and exploiting that matchup.

Speaking of the Raiders, they're gonna need a new coach. Sources are reporting that Hue Jackson has been fired after 1 season of 8-8.

Hue Jackson is an idiot, and the Raiders FO is even worse. The Bengals got really, really lucky that Oakland is full of suckers. What a year for them.

The two teams from Ohio will be laughing for this year when they reap the potential benefits from making deals to give Julio Jones and Carson Palmer to the Falcons and Raiders respectively. Cincinnati benefits even more because they get a pick of a team out of the playoffs AND can pick somebody who isn't a speedy guy with no hands (which the Raiders would do).

Off-topic: Should we start a 2012 NFL Draft thread?

Probably not until the Shriners and Senior Bowl games roll around. Kids still need to declare.

Let me guess, I bet you think the team that scores the most points will win? 💡

Divisional Playoffs is what this weekend is all about. Best of luck to all survivors of the previous round. I am certainly looking forward to the Texans at Ravens match. Since tomorrow is my birthday, I sort of REALLY hope the Texans can pull the upset. Best of luck to all of your teams this weekend!

Which team was the offensive powerhouse? 28 points scored in the final 5 minutes of the game and the 49ers knock out the Saints 36 to 32.

I'm surprised to say the least, my only doubt about the 49ers coming into the playoffs was that they couldn't score 30+ points as easily as the Pack and the Saints. I can now see this team making the superbowl.

I'm not saying **** about the Broncos game until the 4th quarter. It's not over until the fundie kneels.

But that Niners game? Jesus. Best game of the year. FIGHTIN HARBAUGHS baby.

The New England Patriots have defeated beaten utterly destroyed not found yet but did something to the Broncos.
