NFL General Discussion

LOL. In the picks thread I was thinking about putting a caption for the Falcons game that the Jags would be on the receiving end of 41-14 this week. And they were. What are the odds of that?

Based on your other picks, you may be in trouble.

I though GTP didn't care about sports  I just had to look further hahaha
Anyway, it was good to see the Giants beat the Cowboys at their home... now we have Redskins, Jets and Cowboys... We still have playoff chances, all we gotta do is play like it's the last game ever and win. Because if both the Giants and the Cowboys wins their two games before they play against each other again, they will fight for the lead in the NFC East in the last regular season game...

Dallas won 31-15 on Saturday night. They led 28-0 at the Half.

Enjoy your games for today, including the Ravens at the Chargers for Sunday Night Football.

God DAMN it! Why did I pick the Bills? Dolphins you gotta lose baby.

Redskins are unloading on the Giants. Its currently 20-3. Grossman is doing well, Helu is running, the Giants D is playing soft. And we're benefiting from it.

Packers are losing 9-6 to the Chiefs.

EDIT: The Colt are leading against the Titans. This is interesting the undefeated team might lose and the winless team might win.

Nearing the end and some teams aren't in good shape.
Miami is doing what they shouldn't do, win. KC is winning by scoring no TDs, Titans are embarrassing themselves out of the playoffs.

And the Giants might have just given up today. 23-3 and now Washington has the ball.

Washington (5-9) upsets New York (N) (7-7): 23-10.

Carolina (5-9) takes advantage of an understaffed Houston (10-4): 28-13

Kansas City (6-8) stuns Green Bay (13-1): 19-14.

The Texans were sleepwalking and did something they haven't experienced in a while- fail. The Panthers game concerned me to begin with. I just didn't think the Texans would stoop THIS low in this game. Most of our woes came on turnovers and penalties. That even included two picks thrown by T.J. Yates. If you want to call it Homecoming for my Texans, this was a sorry ass way to come home as AFC South champions (it could have been worse). The final score was 28-13 in favor of the Panthers.

All good things must come to an end. Unfortunately, and with two games this week, it had to be against a damn good losing team. Did your team(s) fail like my Texans?

Green Bay is now 13-1.

Washington played a complete game today and benefitted from it. We had key players out: TE Fred Davis, Safety Laron Landry and more. Manning got picked off 3 times, got sacked in key situations and our defense won that game. The Chiefs won.

Cincinnati (8-6) keeps playoff hopes alive by beating St. Louis (2-12): 20-13

Indianapolis (1-13) gets off the schnide, demoralizing Tennessee (7-7): 27-13 Pittsburgh has clinched a Playoff Spot

New Orleans (11-3) stomps Minnesota (2-12): 42-20

Seattle (7-7) stays alive and buries Chicago (7-7): 38-14

THIS JUST IN...

Colts no longer winless. They won 27-13 at home against the Tennessee Titans. Up next for them... they get my Texans Thursday night. I hope my Texans don't sit on their asses and do next to nothing on Thursday night like they did today against Carolina...

That's the most disgusting game the Titans could have played to make the playoffs. In fact, I believe that the loss + a New York AND Oakland wins will all but mathematically eliminate them.

So the undefeated team lost and the winless team won,

:boggled:

Thanks to the win over the Texans today, the Pathers are no longer last in the NFC South division. :D. I sort of wish they hadn't won though as I want to see them get a nice early first round draft pick.
