NFS Hot Pursuit 3

yeah it's open when you play interceptor mode or something... not when you race or try to bust a race....

I still don't see where the option is officially stated that we drive around this virtual world without needing to start an event.
 
Did anyone notice that you can play customs songs if you go into the audio mode of the demo it even says the name of the songs about to play HOTNESS

Awesomeness.

But, I think it'll be more like Most Wanted where you could jump the menu and select your races, or you can just cruise around enter races...or cruise with friends.
 
Downloaded the demo, and I have to say that the graphics are 2x as better than Nneed for speed Shifts one. :)
 
I started the download today. Naturally on my connection that takes ages, but at least they have a demo this time, so I can try before I buy.

You think? I thought it looked horrible.... just too dark as well

Anyway I found the handling unsatisfying, and just not that fun to play

It finally downloaded and I'm not so sure I'll buy it. The cars kept wanting to "track" too much, one tiny steering input (using controller for arcade games) and the car would just keep steering too much, and knowing EA that sluggish response to inputs will get a whole heap worse with faster cars.
 
I played the demo last night for a few minutes, I played the Dark Horse mission. The addicting part was trying to beat a few of my fellow GTP'rs times. Tommi_2000 has a best time of 1.08!👍 I could only achieve 1.38:tdown:. I think I will end up renting the game to try first, I am afraid I might pick up some really bad habits prior to GT5's release playing this game:mischievous:

Personally I found the controls to be pretty spot-on for a game like this. :) Certainly not much worser than my other favorite arcade racers PGR4, Test Drive Unlimited and Midnight Club LA. And certainly much better and immersive than what Shift ever had IMO! :sly:
 
That's a shame it's auto only. Oh well, I pre-ordered the Limited Edition today, even though I don't usually buy arcade games. It will be something to do until GT5, and if I don't feel like driving with the G27 at least.

That's what I love about need for speed. it's that that keeps me on the edge when driving.
 
This game seems like great fun, and will be awesome to play around with while waiting for GT5. 👍

As a Swede I'm glad they have three Koenigsegg's, and the cop versions look killer!

I can't believe you have to have someone in your friend's list who downloaded the demo if you want to be chased by the cops. :grumpy:

But anyway, the demo was quite fun. I would defenitely get this game to get through the wait for GT5 if I had the money. 👍

The other thing is just a straight race.
I liked the game but am
a)Gonna get it when(if) all(loads) of my friends get it.
b)Wait for it to come to £20 after a couple of months.

I agree just GT5 filler and i Have alot of freinds getting it so it should make it fun to play
 
You get used to the physics after a while to the point where they can be fun, I did a 1'17 in the Dark Horse race and a 3'26 in the Roadster race. I don't know where everyone gets these super times from, these runs feel almost perfect to me.
