The physics are incredibly, frustratingly bad (even for an arcade game) and difficult to use, there is nothing besides career and online mode, no modifying (even very minor, as per the original NFS HP game), no personal garage (as per original games) and most of the shortcuts that are required to be utilised to get gold times are highly difficult to navigate properly, even with practise.
What do you honestly need modifications for? As Rubin Carver said (Road Trip) "It's supposed to be a challenge, that's why they call it a shortcut. Otherwise, it'd just be the way."

Another question, I recall that upon successfully redeeming your online pass, they said they give you a few cars... one of which were a gallardo, don't remember which one specifically, does anyone remember what cars they give you?
Unfortunately I think I'll have to give this one a pass for the time being because of GT5 and my wallet...![]()
So I caved and bought this game for the PS3 anyways, and I have to say, this is the most fun I've had with a racing game since PGR4!
TBH, I don't mind the lack of manual, but something tells me this would have been a blast to play with a friend in splitscreen.

Take your favorite car out to free drive, and I can almost guarantee you'll forget any problem you have with the game. Except the lack of an interior view...considering they're all modeled, too.![]()
No dice.. I am very upset about this.. Its still enjoyable with a controller but im not sure wether its worth my $$$..
no room for manual tranny on your controller.
Oh yes there is.
