The more I race online the more I regret not being able to check left/right when using a wheel. In the Ambush Canyon race I had no idea you were on my quarter, and the rear-view mirror is about as useful as "fuzzy dice" once you're up to speed.:grumpy:

... And with no provision for button programming for the wheels, it makes it tough to tell where you are in relation to everyone else.

LOL not your fault mate, i seen you run a bit wide and took an opportunistic attempt to pass, but we spun in unison 👍

I'll be getting this game hopefully by this weekend.
I was wondering if any one would like to start a championship seiries?(just till GT5 comes out).I don't have game yet but it was this or Grid and I can't wait untill march .So if any one is interested or has ideas let me know.P.S. not tring to highjack thread we could start a new one for a chapionship.Thanks

I would love to do a championship series. I tried organizing one on another forum I'm on, which failed to take off due to lack of participation. GT3-alike with a 14.00-limited field, lots of laps. Good times, in theory.

I'm loving me some 4.00 racing, though, for now...
 
Haven't been on the GT forums in a long while. Nice to see this game is getting some interest while we wait for the GT5 full release. I would enjoy some track time with folks from this thread (less punting and more accurate driving in general versus the public).

My primary account is xTaggerx. That's the account I used when playing through the game. I haven't beaten it yet. But, I'm into the final tier of races. It seems like I had the most fun back in the tier 2 events.

So, anyone looking for some track time with a clean racer, add xTaggerx and I'll respond. It might be a good idea to include a note about being from the GT forums or something. Thanks!

Same question here. There are now races to choose from other than letting the game choose your games for you. Major fail imo. Are we missing a key instruction?

Edit: the race has to be set to private and then you can invite your friends - sent you a race invite just now, i'll hang out and wait in case you're already in another race
 
Had a great round of races with Jonesy (Headsets make a difference). Femke and Kemp joined in later and I apologize for having to drop as host. I was having some severe lag problems which is why you guys lapped me on Grands Hatch Indy on the 3rd lap. The whole race was just slow motion, thought I was driving a Yugo! Jonesy and I had some close matches with the Audi RS at Glendale, traded some paint, and still crossed the finish line within inches. Jonesy was a lot of fun to race with, I did learn that I need to setup some 4.0, 6.0, and 10.0 cars for the races if your not running manufacturing. I had a heck of a time with the Viper tonight, like driving on Ice. Well I shall see you guys on the track in the future.👍
 
I have added you Duke Of Pendle. I wanna see what my connection is like within the UK, apparently it wasn't great with guys from across the atlantic :(
