I was with somekind of hope in Silverstone but then last night Manny gently showed me what's tuning all about and beat me pretty bad in a TIER 2 car-🤬 that camarro ss is fast-but only a great racer like you could take it for 15 laps overthere without major set backs:tup: i've tried latter-while i was waiting for someone to rejoin-and it's an hard beast to tame.

Yeah, that Camaro is a beast. As it stands right now, it's just too easy to spin it. I doubt I'd get through 15 laps with it. I'll adjust the Differential settings to see if I can get it to behave itself. :crazy:

I've heard that some owners of the new PS3 Slim models have had trouble setting it up initially to connect to PSN. I hope you get it sorted out SteveO.
 
I should be able to make it tonight but I cannot say for defonate because my mum is being a boot... Something about revision, I wasn't really listening.... Anyway, if I'm not online at 9 don't wait for me ;)

Hope it's not corrupt data my old 1 struggled to sign in at 1 stage.
I switched it on and kept finger on the button till it switched off again.
Switched it on again and kept finger on button you here 1 beep followed by a 2nd duel beep then release finger.
Plug controller in with lead
Then it sets screen up before going to diagnostic menu screen thing.
select number 3 and 3 only (or it wipes your PS3 clean)
It will said your file system is corrupt would you like to rebuild file system?
You say Yes please and press X
Got to be worth a try.
Actually if you've tryed 2 more ps3's ignore my babble.

Andrea connected to the PSN 20mins ago but as been DC'd three times since.

I know that my son and I in the past have had a similar thing happen when we both connect to the PSN through our router. It was an IP Address conflict I believe and only stopped when I assigned a permanent IP Address and DNS Server addresses to my PS3.

Even so, I know almost nothing about networking. I just got lucky and it seemed to fix the problem.
 
I raced Hog this morning and it appears like he's taking his anger out on Ambush, he reeled me in like I had a four banger under the hood :nervous:

Race Week 5

Well things started off rather shakey in Ambush Canyon when we lost NC as the race was loading, but we had a clean re-start and everything was good. NC got the lead early, but went wide in the bumpy section near the end of Lap 1 and I got by him. And that pretty much sums it up... I never saw anyone else after that.

I have to say our new guy Mohamu is an excellent addition to the League. He's very quick and I had a great deal of trouble catching him in Race 2 at Dakota. I don't think I'd have been able to cleanly pass him if he hadn't caught his left-front wheel on the curbing and spun. Even so, he caught up to me and was getting pretty close in the lest few laps. Excellent driving Mohamu. I thought I might've had the fast lap in that race, but Jonesy got it by more than a tenth. Nice lap!
Arvore had bad luck on that rolling start at Dakota when he and someone else came together and arvore spun. I didn't see who he connected with, but I don't think they even noticed that it happened. This is a really weird game sometimes.

Silverstone was another weird one for me. I thought I had the Camaro tuned to perfection. I was running 1:17.8's last night with it, and I'd improved it's handling this afternoon. But once the third race started felt like I was driving a different car! The thing was all over the place. Arvore and Mohamu both got past me early, but I halfway think Jonesy was afraid to get too close! Arvore had the race well in hand with Mohamu second... and Arvore got D/C'ed 60 meters from the finish line!!! Of course, he'll get credit for the win, but you sure had a rough final week arvore. I have no idea what happened to NC during the third race. Engine trouble? He pulled over early on and parked it.

Good racing guys, I had fun on the first race after my d/c. I had been having problems with connecting to ea. Ambush is one of my favorite maps but the LMS just wanted to bounce at those two bummy sections of the track. Race 2 started getting really laggy for me, when ever I would get around any one they would start jumping around the track, flashing off the track on the track, beside and behind, then I spin out. More of the same in race 3 and I called it quites after 5 laps.
 
Wow. B Group must've had a whole slew of disconnects! I saw Ricky disconnect early, and Aldo clearly did not follow my advice, :lol:, but I never saw femki log in at all.

Looks like a few people will be wanting Make-ups tomorrow. I hope EA sorts out their server issues tonight. :grumpy:

People say they may be loading up another DLC, I hope so some fresh cars would be good I dont really care for ferraris much but if it were a DLC full of British FORD cars I would be wetting my self with excitement and never leaving my room for at least 6 months :lol:.
 
Well what can i say besides The Best Driver Won-I don't really know what happened to ricky I can't see his results in group A leaderboards so the title decision might be on hold until tomorrow...but if not:

Ambush canyon i tried to stay out of trouble as i knew a slight mistake could have drastic consequences...Manny got away in the beginning of the race and never laid eyes on him again... tryed to hold second place but NC was closing on me and his pressure led me to a mistake and to third place at some moment i thought i would loose it to MOHAMU26-Pretty fast and clean driver WELCOME to this league-but struglling a lot i managed to get a podium finish.About this race a word to our outcasted friend who enraged by the iniquity of life could pull an AMAZING lap time at this killer combo:tup: even broke is clutch...:).


Dakota begun pretty bad for me as the rolling start made somebody spun me:indiff: then as you can see for the lap times we were all doing pretty much even laps so it was very difficult to reach NC and despite finishing in Jonesy's tail it would take like more 5 laps to overtake him because we were battling meter to meter and i think he managed to pull best lap with me on his rear bumper-WELL DONE:tup:

On Silverstone National i was rewarded with the pole and took of for a pretty uneventfull race with a confortable distance to Manny and Mohamu and 50 metters before the finish line...directors cut,classic tragedy piece, i got 🤬 disconnected:mad::irked::ouch::yuck:

Once again i'de like to thank all of you guys for fine moments of pleasure playing a videogame...this is what online playing is all about enjoying gaming with friends with similar tastes in a healthy and salutar competition that keeps making me get back to a game that otherwise i would have sold or shelve a couple of months ago...SO CHEERS FOR THAT.

Well, I am not the biggest fan of Ambush Canyon. The car really doesn't do well there. I also did terrible at International. I honestly don't know how I got the fastest lap at Dakota. I guess having Arvore breathing down my neck made me go faster.

Great season guys!
 
Hi! It was a very good fun last night! I've enjoyed the races with you guys! On the first race there was a huge crash in the first corner and i had a lot of mistake during the run. On dakota i was under pressure by Manny so much, and i've lost control in a corner, after this i couldn't catch him. On silverstone i've made a personal record, and it was thanks to you guys,you really make faster the new members! For first attempt it was a really good result for me, i could finish all the races,without big crashes and with not a bad result! It was a kind of fun i've tried to find since i have this game! Thank you guys!

I got back in time for the third race then got booted on 4th lap or something :irked:

Well I was quite disappointed with this race I really should have done better but I barely practiced.
In the beginning of the race I caused contact then I got a little confused on who I hit, I thought it was sham then addictions and then I realized it was Garth sorry mate I dont know what happened you looked like you were just crossing over to get into line but then your brakes came on and i rear ended you.

Then I done the most rookie thing I have done in a while and cut into the path of addictions when I should have known he was close lucky I was the only one to suffer but sorry any way mate.

But to be fair I think me and addictions would have been a lot further up the grid if we weren't held up behind Garth as even tho Dakota is not the smallest track it is a hard track to get a safe and clean overtake well I though so any way.

I was sure taking you out was my fault mate. I noticed your line on previous laps and I allways came through 1st. After watching your video I noticed I clipped the barrier which I didn't feel, Just felt like I slipped on a curb. This obviously slowed me down a little and our racing lines crossed which is why I stopped to let you by.
Hopefully it will get reraced I was not happy with 10 laps as I stated on my mic 5 times of which nobody listened.
