The videos will be posted on Monday (except the Laguna seca bacause my camera was froozen :( After I posted the I'll comment them too...

It was fun yesterday, but a bit boring on the pole LOL:sly:

Lookin' forward for next week's combos!!

Thanks for your help with the table of results Mo.
And yes I'm expecting a few comments on race 4. Well the first lap anyway.

I love racing with you guys, but the lag issue is screwing me big time. I can't race in conditions where I'm in one spot and a split second later my car is in the freakin dirt. I guess my connection is bad. I'll try to keep racing but it's terrible to be so good in practice then come race time the lag makes me re-correct myself when there's no need to.

And what was with the monaco race? The blue things were all over the track. I tried to keep up but every lap i come around and smash into them. How'd you guys avoid it?

The Race Videos:

I update as fast as I can upload to Youtube

Laguna Seca:
As my camera was froozen, I have no video of this race, sorry guys, but it was not exciting at all I saw empty road before me..LOL

Nordschleife:
Part1
Part2

Monte Grande:
Part1

Fresh, my eyes are wrong or I see well that your car was always on the sidewall during the 1st lap? You were looked like a pinball LOL. And in lap 2, you totally hitted the sideblocks. Why do you surprised the blue things were everywhere if you hitted them:)??

Actually I had big luck that I didn't hit the sideblocks, I vas very carefully, but sometimes my tires lost grip and it was just milimeters between me ant them..

Part2

Lakeside:
Part1
Here I have to ask you Fresh, would you be so kind and comment your first lap please? :) I'm very interested about it! At the start I had much better reaction time, I get into position 2 from 3, I stayed in my line to avoid any connection between us, but than i was putted into the wall.. and not one time, two times.. was it a lag? After the chicane Shark was on the ideal line front of you, but you crashed him, putted first to the sideblock, than pushed him into the wall, he spinned out, then you pushed the reset button. Am I right? Please correct me if I saw badly the situation

Mitz, in the 2nd lap: WTF happened LOL? It was just a lag or I'm right if i think you just pushed my car with incredible speed on the break distance?:) (please watch my mirror when it happened)

Part2
Shark, sorry for my contact with you in lap7! I waited and let you get over me after it. I hope you feel that it was not my fault that after this you couldn't catch Mitz!

Hey guys, great races this weekend!!

Before I lose my train of thought....Mo- I absolutely remember that moment in the Lakeside race. At that point in lap two, I had been following you after my screw-up into turn 5. At that point I thought I wouldn't have much of a chance to catch you....so I started driving in damage control mode. Then, approaching the tight right.... to me it just looked like you missed your braking point. I remember wondering what had happened, considering you walked away from us quite easily in every other race! After that point, I just braked for the turn normally and took the inside track around the tight right....and continued my race from there.

Obviously, that isn't what happened on your side of the game! I saw the vibration in your screen from me bumping you....the game definately took it as that. For that, I am sorry. While we're all racing for placement, the thing that comes first and foremost in my mind is the avoidance of contact. Rest assured, if I had felt that contact, I would be gladly waiting at the side of the track for you to re-take your position.

Otherwise, I'm going to watch the videos from this past weekend and comment from there. Once again, great times with you all!!

No problemo Mitz!
I met a great and fair driver in you, exactly a person who we need here! I thought it was a lag! thats is why we have to have cold head before we speak something.. Congratulation mate, you were fast and carefull on every race, and you've beated Shark what is a big thing in my eyes! I can say: practice helped you LOL
I hope you can join us next time too!

Heh, thanks Mo! I'll tell ya, every time I looked up and saw that I was 3rd instead of 6th place.....I kept thinking...."Woooo, practice makes perfect!!!" I did twenty laps practice on Lakeside beforehand....it does wonders in the race!

As for the incident, I do believe it was lag as well. While that might be true, I understand it still doesn't help too much in the moment, with the adrenaline pumping. Mo, your cold-headed approach to these incidents is what keeps this racing group together! If we could all take this approach to these lag issues and treat them as what they are, an un-avoidable racing incident, we'll have a whole bunch more fun!

Just keep in mind, you can always catch that driver- even after a 'lag-spin', with just a few clean laps. Look at the way Mo and Shark reeled me in at Lakeside! As I'm obviously not as fast as them, the only thing that saved my placing in that race were the clean laps that I put down.

And by the way, I now know why you chose the name Shark! I kept hearing that 'Jaws' soundtrack every time I looked in the mirror and saw you hunting me down!! Very exciting, to say the least, to be up front dogfighting with you gentlemen!

As for Seth's incidents, I have to mention one thing I noticed. Guys, take a look right at the beginning of the first Lakeside video. Everyones' name has their ping in parenthesis next to it. While the rest of us seem to run between 100-200ms, Seth seems to be in the 400-500ms range.

Now, I'm not too sure if that's the ONLY problem with Seth's driving, as I actually laughed out loud when I saw the demolition derby that ensued at turn 1/2/3 Lakeside, but it definately doesn't help! I know how it is, I hit Jay in the one lap practice for the 'Ring, didn't even feel the contact! Like I said during the races,(although we'd love to) we can't win the race in the first turn/lap!

That's the one thing I can promise you guys, fair driving. Be it in virtual reality or in the real world, we have more than enough things trying to make us slower every lap...nevermind us doing things to ourselves and fellow racers! Looking forward to hearing how everyone else feels about this weekends' races.

Good times as always, guys!!

Yo Mo route your audio through your microphone input, the mechanical noise your FF wheel makes is totaly noticable. I would think that it is possible to make that connection from most electronic devices. Something to think about....lol

If I could do it untill now, i would do it.. unfortunately my camera is in a lowcost category, there is no option to connect my tv's audio signal with my cam.. :(

But the sad thing is that the most interesting thing in my videos: my wheel's noice lol

Else: can we know something about what kind of surprise do you have for us this weekend Mr President?

what is your camera? I might be able to come up with a work around

Fresh, I think your favorite part in Burnout is the takedown:sly:
Thanks Mitz, it was fun for me too, but next time I'll be better!:D:D:D
My videos are coming soon (thx MO!)

My camera is a: "4 GB Flip" . It was a souvenir on a Cisco conference LOL. it has no any input, only an 2,5 jack output for a TV

I didn't know that numburs show the ping time man!
But if this is right, I have to say sorry for Fresh, there is no option to race without mistakes and lags if you got a bad connection like this mate!:( Sorry once more Fresh, I hope your connection problems will be ok somehow in the near future and finally we can see how do you race without lag problems...

I did some combos for this week but I don't like them so the've been scrapped.

I would like Lefty to choose a combo for a tuned car.
I would like Shark, Mo and Mitz to choose a Stock combo please

I was thinking all layouts week = FF, RR, AWD, MR.

And here's a section of Race 1 and Race 4 for you to laugh at.

Ok, I'll give you the RWD stock combo mate! Tomorrow I'll have some time for a short test, after it I PM you my decission mate!

Sounds good to me as well! I'll give the AWD combo if that'd be alright with everyone. I'll test a few combos tonight and PM the choice to you, Jay.

This should be cool, as each drivers' choice should give them a little advantage. The only hint I'll give you guys about my choice......the track'll have a whoole bunch of those blue marshmallows!!! Juuuust kidding!

Gotta love the video too, Jay! I know those moments, whilst spinning, using the most complicated combination of choice words to ever grace my tongue.......at least since the last time I spun! We'll get 'em next time, brother!!

Thanks guys I'm sure they be great.

*Thinks*
I like this new PS3 update I can now upload video to youtube via Playstation.

I’m not sure what I was supposed to look at in Add's video except for the extremely long time going backwards in the first half of it, the rest of it looked like Add was struggling and not having a good day.

I would like Lefty to choose a combo for a tuned car.
I will look around today to put a couple of suggestions together for this weekend. It’s nice to be back after confronting a certain Grizzly bear twice in one evening:irked:….wow….lol

WOW Addd your chart makin skillz are looking suave groovy cool....... 👍
Maybe you could jazz it up w/ some color....lol

Yeah sorry if i seem like a poor driver, it's not the case I assure you. The lag is a big issue, I've tried to explain before. I don't wanna feel like I'm screwing you guys up, because thats not me, I don't drive into people. I brake if someone is slower than me but directly in front. I would rather slow up than go around because of other racer's lines. Anyway hopefuly i can get the router to put out a better signal or something, maybe that'll help with the lag issues. I just feel bad because I run such good times in practice against the computer so there's no way i should be slamming into walls or driving in the dirt. I pride myself on racing clean and not going off track. Oh well. Let me know what the next races consist of in terms of cars and tracks and I'll see if i can get some better tunes done to stay ahead of the 'lag issue'.

Yo Fresh, Maybe if you found a cheep way to record your race you wouldn't have to defend your self so much. Maybe you aren’t giving your self enough time to understand how the other drivers drive, and your in the wrong place at the wrong time. I didn't race last wk so I can't comment on your situation but maybe you need to pick bigger holes to drive thrue by reading the guy in front of you a little longer to find a week point in their line selection.

I would like Lefty to choose a combo for a tuned car.

I think I would like the Escort RS Cosworth Works on Dakota Nationl for 20 laps = about 15 min race

Yo Lefty, no thanks. I'm not spending money on shift anymore than I have. It's not the fact that I'm not giving myself enough time, it's the fact that the lag presents a unique situation. As said my ping time was .500ms when everyone elses was around .100 to .150 -so that right there is saying that there's at least a big gap between what i see compared to what you guys see. I could be here but be a half second further forward or behind where it shows I am. I'm not sure if you can make a difference up of a half second when you're in position of contention. I just know that once out front it's easy to run my pace and keep it, even if the lag is still an issue i can limit the mistakes by turning in early, because it won't be early it'll be on time. It's weird but that's how it is with my racing.

Thanks Lefty Mo did this weeks points table lol..

👍 If it helps You, I can do the update this time too mate

Edit: Hey guys, have a look on Shark's first part video of lakeside lol..
