If Chicago doesn't win it all this season, would this season be a lost cause for the Blackhawks considering how well they've done?

I think Toronto stands a better chance of making the playoffs this year than any other in recent memory. That in itself would be a win regardless of outcome. :)

The Habs cheated? Lol that's rich coming from the team with the son of Colin Campbell :P

Habs vs Bruins for the Cup. Habs will get smashed, naturally!
MTL and BOS are in the same conference so the closest we can get would be the conference finals. That'd be awesome though, Montreal-Boston series in the playoffs are just unbelievable.

SO loss to Chicago. Really thought we had their number.

Shout outs have overstayed their welcome me thinks, just a skills competition as evidencee by 'Ive got all the time in the world' Kane.

I'm not going to trade clips of uncalled penalties with a fan of a team that emloys Chara, Lucic, and Thornton..

Youre guys were just diving like Kesler and Cindy, cmon now! CHEATING. :D Ill call my buddy Luuch to kick your ass!

That is all.

You have to do what you have to do. I know those and i feel bad. I mean thats just terrible. But i still hate THE HABS AND THEIR CHEATING.

If the supposedly tough Bruins embellish it's "what you have to do", but for the Habs it's cheating?

;)

Not that I've followed the season with any sort of regularity, but let me ask you all...

1.) What teams and/or players have surprised you, or have been surprises this season?

2.) What team(s) is/are underrated to you this season? What player(s) is/are underrated?

Good luck to all teams playing today and tonight.

1) Blackhawks mostly, they are good but have had a tremendous start to the season!. Damien Brunner has been the surprise of the season by a country mile for me. Amazing start to his NHL career and proving the boundary between the Swiss league and NHL isn't that large.

2) Coyotes and Flames, they may have trouble with consistency but when I watch them they play fantastic hockey, Coyotes with a more rush 'hot potato' kind of style and Flames with possession style. Doan, Martin. St Louis are under-rated.

1. Dougie Hamilton, i know the kid got skills, but to play that well in his first season, im really suprised.

Philadelphia Flyers, i expected them to do better, i know they are turning it around a bit. But at this point i expected 1st-4th.

Anaheim Ducks, sure as hell i didnt expect them to be doing that well and signing Getzlaf even bigger suprise.

2. Dallas Stars, they are really underrated alltought they signed The Wizard and Jagr. I still dont think they get the attention they deserve.

Kari Lehtonen, one of the best goalies right now, say what you want. Just think Lehtonen in the Bruins net, having Chara, Seids, Boych infront of him he would be one of the guys for the Vezina.

These are the main ones. 1sts runner ups: Montreal Canadiens, Tuukka Rask, Nazem Kadri

2nds runner ups: Phoenix Coyotes, Jamie Benn, Tyler Bozak.

1) Montreal has surprised the hell out of me honestly. And they aren't just streaking either, Montreal's possession stats are very good and they're not just riding luck. They're legitimately a good team. They won't finish 1st (Boston will definitely win the NE division), but I see MTL finishing around 4-6th in the East. Also surprised by how bad the Flyers are this year. Surprised by the Ducks but they're in for some regression, really bad possession stats and their shooting percentage is unsustainably high.

As for players, Raphael Diaz, Brendan Gallagher, and Dougie Hamilton have been shockingly good.

2) Agreed on Lehtonen being underrated, dude is a legit star goalie but doesn't get mentioned much.

Ya, the Jackets shutdown the Wings! If theres one positive to the Blue Jackets season, its a record of 3-0-1 vs the Red Wings. Also, on a 4 game win streak right now. Which is crazy considering all the injuries.
