Wow! Perry asking for 9-10mill a year. Rumors says he wants 7-8year deal. But! 9-10mill is wayyyyyyy too much!

[Edit]: Rumored teams interested in him: Boston Bruins (WHY?!? WTF?!), LA Kings, Philadelphia Flyers, Detroit Red Wings and Toronto Maple Leafs.

Rangers at Capitals on NBC right now. It is 1-0, WAS as of the time of this post. About 12:00 left in the first period.

Perry would make you guys unstoppable. Not hard to fit him under the cap either, Thomas' 5M is gone, Savard is forever on the LTIR, and someone could be traded to make room. Imagine if Krejci, Seguin, and Perry were on the same line. Or Lucic, Bergeron and Perry. It's a high price for sure but it has become the cost of doing business. I think you'll probably be able to get him for Getzlafs's contract. MTL would have to go up around or over 9M because the Quebec taxes are so high.

Perry perfectly fits the Bruins style, he's big, strong, hits like a ton of bricks, and happens to be awesome at scoring goals too. I don't think he's quite as much of a fighter but I think Boston is OK in that department.

But, but! I DONT WANT HIM! I want Tyler Myers! I want Perry to join the Leafs.

So youre saying Marchand would be gone? You have to count in Hortons new contract and Rasks new contract. Its tough. Horton gone and then Marchy in third with Pevs and Bourque? It could work but I DONT WANT HIM! :P Dont ask i just dont.

I knew the Blackhawks had to fall at some point. Well, the Blackhawks slipped and fell on their backsides trying to defend home against the Edmonton Oilers. I was watching some of the highlights on NHL Network as EDM hung four goals on Chicago early. I found out through Yahoo! Sports that Edmonton won 6-5 at Chicago. You have to lose as some point. All congratulations to Edmonton on a job well done.

Tonight's matches:
* Boston Bruins at Ottawa Senators
* Calgary Flames at Los Angeles Kings

Enjoy some NHL hockey tonight.

Again, I don't follow the NHL as much as I probably should. I learned they lost at Colorado 6-2 prior to this Edmonton loss at home. Chicago is at Columbus this Thursday and at Dallas this Saturday.

Now that the Hawks have lost twice in a row the record is not that impressive really. 21-2-3. Anaheim is 18-3-3, Boston 16-3-3. So if you look at it, they had a good winning streak.

Yes! Got my Bruins app radio work finally! Yes!!

[Edit]: Marchand vs Ribeiro, wait what?! :D

[Edit2]: Horton vs Hendricks! Whaaat?! :D AND! Horton Gordie Howe hatter :)

[Edit3]: :)

The Wild beat the Avalanche 6-4, happy they are scoring now but the amount allowed is worrying. The win did put us back even with Vancouver for the division though.

Beat Vancouver again. Would love to get them in the Playoffs at this rate.

Enjoy your hockey on this St. Patrick's Day! On NBC right now, it's the Boston Bruins at the Pittsburgh Penguins. No score as of this post from this game. Nine minutes left in the First Period.

I don't know about that. He and Crosby take turns having the year off with injuries so they can both be number one . He seems to just prefer winning, but it's kind of hard to read his personality sometimes since his english isn't great.

I guess we'll see. His contract is up after next season so we'll see what happens. He might leave as he can probably get more than 8.7M outside of Pittsburgh.

At least now all the silly Corey Perry trade rumours can stop. Glad that the Ducks could get their guys signed though, it would have set that franchise back years if they let those guys walk.

Bruins seal it 2-1 against Sens with one minute to go in the third. An awful game from both teams, but it breaks our losing streak (of a whole two games!) and, more importantly, keeps us up there with Les Habs in the North-East.
