Another "CONTENDER ELIMINATED" for you... Detroit is done for the postseason thanks to Boston. So we got Boston vs. Montreal in the next round of the Eastern Conference bracket. Right now on NBC, it's the Philadelphia Flyers at the New York Rangers.

Enjoy some NHL Hockey today, folks.

Three Game 7's tonight. Got to love tonight if you are a hockey fan. Here is your loaded Wednesday of NHL hockey:

* Philadelphia Flyers at New York Rangers
* Minnesota Wild at Colorado Avalanche
* Los Angeles Kings at San Jose Sharks

If the Kings lose tonight, they will be another team to lose a series after being up 3-0. Good luck to all six teams playing tonight.

All my West Bracket predictions were wrong, and East was correct... What is going on? Also goddamnit Carey Price shutting down my Bruins...

[Edit]: Or not ;)

The Gaborik trade is paying off quite well. Kopitar is continuing his rampage with 3 assists tonight.

Only one game tonight. Can you believe it? We got the Pittsburgh Penguins at the New York Rangers. This should be a cool match.

I heard Ken Hitchcock got a one-year extension as coach of the St. Louis Blues. St. Louis were knocked out of this season's playoffs by the Chicago Blackhawks after so many expectations were on STL.

Tonight in Pittsburgh, it is the New York Rangers at the Pittsburgh Penguins. Game 7. Winner advances; loser's season will be over. Good luck to both teams.

New York comes back from 3-1 deficit to knock the Pittsburgh Penguins out of the playoffs. 2-1 final score.

One Original Six team will advance; the other will not. Montreal Canadiens at the Boston Bruins tonight in another Game 7. Then in the nightcap, it is the Anaheim Ducks at Los Angeles Kings for Game 6 of that series. The Ducks lead this series 3-2.

Enjoy some hockey, fans!

General Manager Ray Shero was fired by the Penguins today. Any further changes, including the status of their head coach (Dan Blysma) remains to be seen until the team hires a new General Manager.

Tonight, Chicago will learn who their Western Conference Finals opponent will be when the Los Angeles Kings and Anaheim Ducks battle it out tonight in Anaheim. Good luck to both teams tonight.

The Anaheim Ducks seemed more content last night laying eggs than try to win a Game 7 at home. It was a 6-2 rout with Los Angeles being all over Anaheim. Speaking of all over, that describes Anaheim's Stanley Cup chances for this season.

So we got...
* New York Rangers vs. Montreal Canadiens (Eastern Conference Finals)
* Chicago Blackhawks vs. Los Angeles Kings (Western Conference Finals)

Four left, two will advance. Good luck to these four remaining teams.

Yeah, the New York Rangers roughed up Montreal real good. Montreal will need to show more fight and more resolve in Game 2 unless they want to be down 2-0 in the series. What do you do when somebody smacks you in the mouth? Montreal better show up next game, or this could be a short series.

Tonight in Chicago, it is Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals. The Los Angeles Kings and Chicago Blackhawks will go at it tonight. CHI leads the series 1-0. Will it be 2-0 Chicago or tied 1-1 once the series shifts to Los Angeles?

Good luck to LA and CHI tonight.

This was what I posted in my Facebook profile in regards to this game:

"Epic fail for the Chicago Blackhawks just now in Chicago. They went from leading 2-1 heading into the 3rd Period... to losing 6-2 to the Los Angeles Kings. Did the Blackhawks forget there are three periods of hockey? This series is now 1-1. Game 3 of this series is in Los Angeles on Saturday night."

Yep. Either Chicago felt like a 2-1 advantage was enough, or Los Angeles woke the hell up in the 3rd Period and slapped around the Blackhawks. Just seemed like they couldn't do anything to suppress the Kings' offense. Shame.

It's Montreal at the New York Rangers tonight for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals tonight. Good luck to both teams tonight.

Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals is tonight. Chicago at Los Angeles tonight. CHI trying to shake off that epic fail of a 3rd Period in Game 2. This series is 1-1.

Tomorrow night is Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals with Montreal at the New York Rangers. NYR is ahead 2-1 after the Overtime victory by MON in Game 3.

Go enjoy some NHL hockey this weekend.

Canada's only remaining team in this season's playoffs could be bounced from the playoffs tonight if the New York Rangers finish off Montreal in Montreal tonight. It's Game 5 of the 2014 Eastern Conference Finals tonight. Montreal will have to win every remaining game if they want a chance at Lord Stanley's Cup. Or, it could be the New York Rangers awaiting the winner of the Blackhawks/Kings series in the West.

Good luck to both NYR and MON tonight.

Canada's only remaining team in this season's playoffs could be bounced from the playoffs tonight if the New York Rangers finish off Montreal in Montreal tonight.

Sadly they didnt. :( Lundqvist was pulled mid game, so he will be a brick wall in the next game.

Los Angeles at Chicago tonight. The defending Stanley Cup champs are in danger of getting eliminated tonight in Chicago. Los Angeles leads the WCF 3-1. Kings at Blackhawks tonight for Game 5.

Good luck to both LA and CHI.
