Not sure that really solves anything. Firstly, the numbers aren't really different enough to give a clear indication and secondly it doesn't take into account how the car corners or brakes. At the end of the day, who has a standard GTR or Supra? Nearly all of them are modded in some way. :)
we have to see actual footage or in front of us who will win?

Toyota is slow????? i am sure that you don´t know the MINOLTA TOYOTA 88cv.

Oh, did that ever finish a race?

Or are you just talking about in GT4?

I've been driving the S.S. AE86 (well, drifting more than driving) and it is quite fun to slide around and does so smartly.

Got a 96 240SX Hatchback I've been drifting too, the AE86 is faster stock around the Nurburgring than the (albeit limited) tuned 240SX, which is rather silly.

Both are fun, and I've just gotten off a big Skyline kick, drifting an 877 Hp M-Spec Nur with nothing but power mods and N1 tires is a lot of hooliganish fun.

Haven't tried a Supra yet, nor have I tried drifting a Z around.

All in all though, I'd say I prefer Mazda...nothing quite like a Supercharged Miata.

Toyota, because I love my SS AE86, and being able to drift with it. I gotta give it up to the Silvias and the Skylines, though. But yes, I hate toyota for making most of their cars FF these days. "I wish Toyota would make cars like this again..." --Keiichi Tsuchiya, while drifting an AE86 in the Drift Bible DVD. It seems like these days, all cars are going to FF.

They both drift pretty nicely once you get over them being fat tanks. I found the 300ZX easier to drift than the 350. I haven't exprimented with the SZ Supra yet, only the RZ.

We're in the drifting forum now..

Anyway: Mazda :) I <3 RX7 right now...

The Supra needs a bit of work, but it's capable (and it looks good).. The 350z is.. i dunno.. not that good as it probably should be for drifting, though I haven't tried the bog standard one.

Yeah! RX7!

Well in the game, the car with the most grip drifts the quickest and in this case, the rx7 is the fastest I've drifted in the game. The s2k's a quick drifter but the FD's even quicker. woohoo.

Anyways, Toyota for me. Formula One yeah!

sure.. call me newbie on drifting but the MNP skyline is more fun to drive in both race and drifting..

Well, I drift my SS AE86 all the time, with like 207 HP, so what's that tell you?

AE86 is so ugly that u don´t want to drive it

WTF R U SAYING U R THE MOST... I MEAN THE MOST RETARDED PERSON ON THIS PLANET, ITS THE BEST CAR FOR DRIFTING THE LOOKS ARE SICK AND THE CAR IS A CHALLENGE TO DRIFT WITH CUS OF ITS TREMENDUS UNDERSTEER (STOCK) BUT U MUST NOT KNOW THAT THIS IS A DRIFT LEDGEND.

Nissan, coz the only cars worth owning from toyota is the GT1 and the uber supra. those are it. I dig awd skylines over supras any day.

Careful buddy... There will be no name calling on this forum... You are correct... The car is a legend, but there is no reason to get so uptight about someone posting their opinion about the looks of the car... Personally, I think it's ugly as well, but it is a great car with a near buletproof engine...

;)

To cut a long story short i cut sic in the 350 Z on tsukuba ( NOT THE WATER TRACK) to see how well i'd go and i kid you not, i was like HELL YEAH,
Dis is da bomb aaight. But the toyota supra is a great looking car very good for drifting but i like the revability of the 350 Z.

Peace out drifta'zzz. LOL

Just a quick Q/A This for those pro drifters in
GTP Forums. Be honest now...

1 Who are the best drifters ?
2 Who is the patient drifter ?
3 What style is right for you ?
4 How fast do you enter the corners, chicanes etc ?
5 Are you an agressive drifter ?
6 When drifting on various tracks
do you change your suspension settings ?

the best car for the tarmac rallies is the HSR II Mitsubishi. Fully modded, soft tyres,4WD and mad tail fins that move on corner but im a toyota guy (go TRD).....

the best way to earn big bucks is to win the european "La Festa Italiano" using the Sizeta V16 you win from the supercar festival. you get a alfa romeo tuoring car worth around $256,000.

You don't know anything and you do not appreciate the old drift cars which are great. You are most likely a person who does not know much about the sport of drifting and probably was/is a ricer cause you care so much about looks and not performance. I bet you have never seen a video of em drifting in reality.

nissan only have more cars cos there are like 50 (exageration) Skylines and only like three supras.
