:odd:

I wouldn't matter where you live if you are refering to the conversion by MotoRex. They hae a flat rate from what I've read.

Well it isn't the injector, coil pack, plug, loom, ecu, or any eletctrical connetions.

We are now taking the intake plenum off to check the gaskets and conditions of the throttle bodies. This is going to be a BLOODY HUGE bill dammmmmnit.

Well they found the problem. The gasket between the #2 thorttle body and head had nearly 30% missing! Looks like most of it was burnt up with some pushed out. The valves looked good so should have it back tomorrow. Robin is going to retune it, but isn't sure what gains if any I'll get. Who knows how long this thing was going.

Ouch. Good thing you found out what it was. How much is it going to set you back?

dunno yet but going to be finding out in a couple of hours. I am hoping to get out of this for under $1,000 all up.

It appears that way :(

Well I got a break on it, just unde $1,000 with all the parts and labour. The R has NEVER idled this well since I've owned. So I reckon those gaskets were going from the start.

I threw 268kw (356hp) at the same boost levels. Gained a bit overall but heaps through the midrange.
All up I'm a happy chappy again.

No I haven't. Anyways why do I hear the skyline having so many different specs, I mean i hear it being 0-60 in 4.5 then 5.5, then 1/4 mile in 12.5 then 13.7 wtf is going on? I want some real stats! Hand em out if you got any! And yes im sure its the V-SpecII

Lancer in as far as what? Each model factory produced or were claimed at different numbers. When I first got my GTR which is an R32, it had pod filters and a Trust Power Extreme 3 3/4" big bore with Trust downpipes.
I fitted a Profec B boost controller and a mild tuned custom chip.
It ran 12.8's @ 109mph pretty consistantly.
I had it retuned quite a bit more after sorting out a few small bugs and with 16.5 psi it threw 335hp at the wheels and got down to a 12.24 @ 115mph.

Since then I've put a 4 inch thick or 100mm thick custom intercooler on it, and the work you can just see done and picked up another 16kw or up to 356hp at the wheels. I've not had it back down to the strip since.

LMAO.. well seeing how you would probably need turbo's to get that HP, and with that much pressure I think it'd take forever for the turbo's to spool up, in essence creating a very long time to finish the quarter mile.... anyone agree?
