Think you will have no problem beating that time, RUFin have crushed the gt2 time with 30sec, so its possible to go much faster ingame.

Hadn't noticed that... his stock time is faster than my modified to 14pp time :crazy:

Might have to do something about that!

Edit... actually, his 7'01 is unrestricted... but the stock GTR V spec time of 7'07 is much quicker than real life.

Heh, yes it's a fun car... more fun than the GT3RS IMO as you have to be more aware of traction with the extra power... but that's the way it should be :D

Your DBR time is astonishing... I only got it the other night and I haven't driven it yet... but sub 6.30 is super fast!

BTW, when we say 'stock' we are talking about no upgrades but tuning still allowed, or no tuning either?

My stock times are no tuning and no upgrades, but im not sure about the rules..

Thanks Stotty 👍 DBR is a GREAT car! And a beast around ring:)

Looks like you're going to get a lot of entries for this... I for one could just spend my entire time hot lapping the 'Ring in different cars :D

I hope so, would be a boring thread otherwise :D

Good point Mr_V, I think the suggestion was that stock cars could be tuned, just no upgrades of any type. I'm not sure how much manufacturers prep their cars for a run round the ring, or if there is any consistency.

Unless anyone objects, we'll say tuning is allowed in stock (it's neccessary with some to alleviate the 'trampoline effect' I would imagine), but no additional modifications. Update to follow...

Ideally, it would be like a GT5P TT and no tuning would be allowed to guarentee a level playing field... but it's a bit different in Shift as a lot of cars are undrivable as you say due to the 'trampoline effect'.

Hello racing guys :)

I have also ordered Shift on last weekend... because of Nürburgring Nordschleife :drool: and GT5P is very boring at the moment. Have to practice a lot to get the right feeling with the "new" driving physics.
I learned in our GTRP Forum 💡 that you will list actual lap times on Nordschleife.

I managed my first rounds and finished yesterday my turn at:

Quickrace; Race-Mod; Driving Mod: Profi; PSN: GTRP_TheHolyLM
Porsche 911 GT3RS; Class 12.0 (Tuning 3); 7'34.300
:(

Not so fast as the other guys here but now I have a reference, which times has to be driven

The slogan for me, as always: Learning by doing :dopey:

Have a nice day @all

edit: Incredible time with Z06 @Pappa 👍

Here are a few stock times I've run - I hope you guys don't mind me posting them, this is a great thread!

TIER 1 Cars:

AUDI TT 3.2 8'52.890
AUDI S3 9'05.380

TIER 2 Cars:

PORSCHE CAYMAN S 8'13.510

TIER 3 Cars:

MERCEDES AMG SL65 8'12.170

In my mind "stock" means no upgrades, no tuning... but I realize even in real life, on track days or time attacks people are tuning said vehicles (tire pressure, removing seats, etc). So whatever the "stock" (unupgraded) car allows for tuningwise in the game is good to go in my book?

Make sense?

I hope so, would be a boring thread otherwise :D

Good job with the list andydavies297! 👍

Updated... and new ones.

Updated:Nissan GT-R V-spec: 7:03:639 (Stock)(Tier3)

Updated:Honda Civic Si: 7:28:852 (Fully tuned) (6.78)

Nissan 350Z: 8:20:460 (Stock)(Tier1)

Subaru WRX: 8:06:340 (Stock)(Tier2)

Some more from me;

Stock Audi R8 - 8:00.310 (tier 3)

Stock Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 - 7:41.370 (tier 3)

Stock?/Unrestricted? BMW M3 GT2 - 7:22.100 (tier5?/15.00 rating)

Stock?/Unrestricted? Porsche 911 GT3 RSR - 7:21.800 (tier5?/14.50 rating)

I'll try to get some times in with the DBR9, R8 LMS, and MC12 later tonight. That's all for now :)

More times;

Stock/Unrestricted Audi R8 LMS - 7:17.170 (15.30 rating)

Stock/Unrestricted Aston Martin Racing DBR9 - 7:01.830 (18.50 rating) - I don't like it. Probably only going to give it a few re-trys for a better time, but I'm just not very fond of it.

Stock/Unrestricted Maserati MC12 GT1 - 6:54.380 - I really like this car. I bet with some more practice I could get some respectable times with it. Expect some more of it in the future from me. ;)

MOAR;

Stock Bugatti Veyron - 7:01.960 (tier 4) - going to try to get this under 7 minutes, I would have if I hadn't had almost spun coming onto the long stretch
