Mike, what tires did you use on the Opera S2000? It comes with sports hards but for some reason its under the Racing category on the spreadsheet.. I just pulled off a 07:45.xxx with the car completely stock..

It was completly stock with oil change on stock tires, theres some cars in that category that were run stock, at the beginning the rules were not all clear, still not the case lol but we will get it sorted out with the added category i will switch the time i know in the right category.

I will add the Audi RS6 time :)

Deutsch Rennen
I guess I have to make a Video and find a way to repeat that time. I spent about an hour on it last night its pretty rude to say that. All It was was a showroom car with an oil change.

Well all youd have to do is get close and film it just knock a small 20 seconds off...

Alex im trying to beat your tesla time. Its really hard with no real engine noise. You forget how much you rely on it normaly

I completed a lap with no driver aids except abs, in an sls amg. Fully modified except for the exhaust system as I don't like the artificial noise it makes! 6:07.103

Sorry it's been so long, but the first post is now updated! :)

Thank you bonobo4, i will send you a modification shortly by PM if you dont mind, may be not today i will be busy, but id like to do some change in the categories and it would be good if you can add them to the first page as well. :)

Was double checking rules before posting, when I found this:

Grip Reduction must be set to Real.

I didn't, so mine 54 Nur times are all useless for this board. This can't be checked in replays (in WRS is optional), so is it just a 'gentlement' agreement rule? How this affects times under OLR rules?

Its a gentlemen rule, we will trust people, but once in a while i like looking at least one replay to see if i can trust, i trust your time since i know you are in WRS, once i seen a replay i rarely ask for another one. Its all for fun afterall. :)

The grip set to real will only make a difference if you run in the grass for an amount of time and get back on asphalt, the car will lose a lot of grip for a short time, a LOT of grip. Its worst depending the area of the track. If you just barely touch the grass it wont really change anything, and if you get back on the road and its a straight line its ok traction will get back to normal before the next curve...

but if you almost lost it 2 wheel in the grass and take sometime to recover or you go too fast in a corner and have 2 wheels in the grass but can get back on the track, you will lost a lot of grip if you use the grip set to real, but will gain some time in your lap if you dont use grip set to real...

If you post a video of each one you think is clean i will still add them, and will add the video on the sheet.

:)

Sorry man. As of it, I runned all laps without 'real lose grip', as I did many a long before this thread opening, and find annoying changing it each time I enter a track and is not saved as default.
According to the rule, and considered I use 2 wheels on grass in Wehrseifen for a lot of cars (and maybe in Hohe Acht), I'm not posting any lap ;)

Yes I know, quality of the video is crap :sly:

Nice.. really fast hehe. You have a much more agressive driving style then me.. For example, I only hit a little bit of grass at the exit of Eiskurve. I guess I should stop driving around like a nanny :sly:

Wow, great time Manuelos, your driving is very smooth and you seem to hit every apex.

06:15.892 - Nissan WOODONE ADVAN Clarion GT-R '08 (Im_Lukas) Beaten

My online record is 0.005 faster on a clean lap with all the right settings but I prefer to use this one as I can be 100% sure that I haven't cut corners because I have a replay. The car hates the grass so it took a while to get a fast lap without spinning out.

Awesome lap Manuelos! 👍
And dont worry for the video quality mate, at least you posted a video and we can see well enought!

7:33.385 -Aston Martin V12 Vantage '10 (hjlamont) NEW

Good feeling car. Very well planted. Very little over or understeer and sticks to the road like glue. I came out of the turn before the final straight at 107 mph.

Nice! you already done a lap with this car! hehe

Ill have to get this pack, and the previous one...

I will try to update during the week, been busy with the job, still browse the forum on the phone during lunch :D

May I say, fellow Nur challengers, that as of this new update, the driving sensation is very much improved in this update 2.03. I am sure you will notice this difference.

:tup:I must say, and I am convinced that (I play every evening for 2 hours) driving now on the Nordschleife/Nurburgring is 15% easier, and more grip, no more mundane understeer that 2.02 presented to me. Very very good driving now. as was with original Spec 2.0

the previous update to this one had me worried, because online racing had cars wobbling/sliding all over, now it is much more forgiving, however, I am also convinced the Wippermann section of this track has been tweaked to send your car airbourne and lose traction completely if line is too dangerous. I lost total motor FFB on my G25, sending my car to the rail, in 3,000 laps, yesterday was the very first time I felt this, and it was most awesome.

minor Throttle input (blipping) is much more effective than before too. Downshifting into corners doesnt seem to induce insta-understeer as before, there are so many welcomed sensations to 2.03, I can't describe it. It is not placebo, I know my Evora if I blind test drove it with 0.01 adjustment differences.

The new stock Vantage V12 a total joy to drive on the Nur, it performs miracles. Oh and all this was with Racing softs, and Tire wear was ON (wear out fast lol)
Thank you so much for 2.03, PD

Happy Lap challenges everyone!
