7:10.280 - Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG '10 (Sutuki) BEATEN

Old lap, but it's not on the list yet:

7:06.867 - Nissan GT-R Black Edition '12 (Sutuki) UPDATED

Thanks, that car especially deserved a better laptime.;)

haha yeah definatly!:D i think i did 2 laps with it and decided to go no further :scared:, i hated the feel. You did really well :)

Nice laps as well sutuki 👍, that 458 lap is really nice :)

I have a couple of lap times that I'd like to add, not exactly at the pointy end of the leader boards:

Volkswagen Golf I GTI '76: 9:12.910 (previous 9:14.481)
Lotus Elan S1 '62: 9:18.657 (previous 9:26.277)

I may try a few more cars (time and patience permitting), so I can provide proof if anyone would like it in due course

Well done Sutuki 👍 Great lap with the Ferrari, will need to try again some day

:nervous: :P.

You should try the ZR1 too, that thing could go "much" faster than 7:06.9. I tend to crash too much with that car

7'21.437 - Ferrari F40 "92 (w-g-e) BEATEN

My favourite car in the game.

Well done Wes! its definatly one of the best car for me too, kind of love/hate though when trying t push it to the limit lol

Pink cars are quick! :D

It would be really nice if we had a separate qualification for lap times that do not touch the grass at all and only hop curbs you could hop in real life. I would also submit there should be a separate ranking for cars with appropriate tires (for example: the SLS is more realistic on CS tires).

This is not meant to take away from the amazing laps people have put in, just saying.

Do real world laps not touch the grass at all?

How exactly would anyone determine what tires each car should have, if not going by what PD put on the cars as default?

Great lap Wes! About time someone properly fast broke that record! Great lap as well to watch. 👍

Somehow I think it's one of the easiest cars to push to the limits but that's probably just me.:dopey:
This was actually only my second lap (after I did some laps at Suzuka). You will see more pink cars when I have time for some laps.:sly:

And cheers Mike and Timo.

I would try to break some records without touching the grass but I'm used to these rules from WRS. I will always hop the curbs as it's very satisfying when you do it right.:P
Me and Sutuki actually discussed to do seperate laptimes without touching grass and using the clutch.

If theres enought demand for this i can add another category, stock production no aids, using the clutch, no grass. even no ABS if thats what people want.

But this would require a video for each lap time. :)

I started updating all the laptime but im short on time, i'll have to continue later, dont worry if the sheet look messed up i will clean it later today. :)

I think at the least it would be best if tires can touch the grass, but must remain in contact with some pavement, or even 1 wheel off allowed.

The wanted goal is realism, and that seems much closer to real life, and also much less painstaking trying to set laps.

If things go well in the near future, I'll have a six speed shifter soon and certainly interested in a board like that though, no abs and all.

05:46.520 - Mercedes Benz CLK-LM Race Car '98 (Feverpitch82) BEATEN

Howdy guys, long time no see. Got myself a PS3 again and a copy of GT5. Im still running the old patch as I havent connected my PS3 up to the net just yet but with the game straight out the box, managed to improve the CLK-LM time by 3/10ths. Andy 89 is very quick indeedy.

Which category Mark?

I will see what i can do for the added category :)

By the way, for any poster, please make sure to follow the entry format, explained on the 1st page or on the spreadsheet, it is a pain to browse through all times and fix the format to make sure the sheet update itself without any errors.

Thank you! :)

Killer 905 time Mark, I was tempted to post mine but I knew it had too much room for improvement (almost 2 seconds worth when compared to yours) but hadn't gotten around to actually improving it.

06:19.777 - Honda NSX-R Prototype LM Race Car (Im_Lukas) BEATEN

Still a few seconds to take off but this isn't as fast as the Super GT cars.

I got a proposition why don't you do lap time section by performance points all on racing softs... like 400,450,500,550,600,625,650pp something like this ... this would be hugely helpful for people to find good cars at certain pp points...

I dont know the exact pp but I did a lap in a Zonda r with only an oil change and racing softs with all assists turned off (tc, abs, driving line, etc) in 6:14 or so. It was extremely hard to get one lap in without the stupid thing that makes yr lap of official every time 2 tires are off the track for 2 seconds. Anyways I shaved 33 seconds of the official record. Is that good for no assists?
