^^ Im jealous! lol I guess it was still a blast even with that rain, cool pic Manuel! :)
I did a stunning 15'30 BTG ... yes, I drove quite cautious in those tricky conditions
14th-15th July will be the next Ring-trip :D Hopefully it'll be a bit better weather then.

Some pretty fast times here, tried all my favourites and could only beat one.

Racing/Non-production (all stock):

I can easily understand you dont want to end your experience in a tree somewhere :D

Hopefully youll be able to give it a faster run next time! What would be considered a good laptime for your MR2?

OK8

Well done!, thx for posting! :)

I honestly have no idea what a good laptime would be in mine. Last year I was doing around 9'35" in good conditions. A friend of mine did a 9'09 once, he had a bit less powered MR2, but on the otherhand he was running on semi-slicks and had a sport suspension installed. I think with the right driver, a sub 9 minutes lap could be possible.
On the otherhand, I try not to take great risks. Getting it slightly wrong at the ring will cost you lots and lots of $$$$ :nervous:

Anyone got the trophy for doing the ring in 7:29 in a stock Nissan GT-R 09 with sports hard tyres? I tried it endlessly a year or so ago but closest I ever got was 15 seconds off which infuriated me so I gave up in the end, if most people have got the trophy though I might have another crack at it.

Do you know the track 100%? If not, a good way to learn it, is by doing the AMG Driving Academy in the "special" section

Yeah I know it pretty well, I know I've done all of the AMG Academy but probably not sure if I've golded them all, I'll try to gold them then have another go at getting the GT-R trophy.

Edit: Have you got that trophy?

The current clean record I'm aware of is a 7:11.xxx for that. It's not an incredibly easy task, but it's certainly obtainable with practice.

Manuelos has a faster time in the Levin but until he gets his hand on the twin... :sly:
edit: I mean Alex p.! Manuelos had the tuned variant :)

Couldn't resist giving it one more try before bed, just love the way this car drives. Sooooo close to Alex's time in the Corolla :D

Yes, I think most of the people in this topic

Sore topic for me, I still only have silvers in the 3rd stage of the advanced series (300SL, rain) (bumping the rev limiter too much) and the full lap expert (SLS, rain). :grumpy:

But anyway, congratulations Manuelos. I'm a bit green right now.

Maybe the Corolla is a bit quicker. ;)

I dont play that much GT5 these days, busy with the job and i spend my spare time outside with that great weather, i can add anyone willing to seriously help with the update :)

Same as mike_gt3 here. Spend some time on GT Academy and some other stuff, so I haven't done many laps the last weeks
And it won't get any better when GT Academy round 8 arrives :embarrassed:

Not visited this thread in a long time, due to the A level exams. But I can safely say that I can now actually improve upon the laptimes I did using the DS3 back in the past. In fact, I've actually beaten some currently on the spreadsheet :dopey:

Guaranteed, there's a huge spreadsheet update needed :ouch: I'm willing to do about 1/3 - 1/2 of it, if I'm free tomorrow :)

Thx Zed, that would really help :)
Hope to see you back behind the wheel as well!

Hey CSLACR if you get the chance try my full tune of the Levin:tup:👍
You may want to tweak a couple settings for best performance on the ring.:gtpflag:

Just to let any potential updaters know, I've added the racing/non production all stock, and tuned/street legal times through post #1941.
A minor setback has me unable to add the times for other categories or the front page count, so I'll add those when that's sorted.

Put it on share for me, I'll give it a crack.👍

Thx Dom, i will try to fix this issue asap. :)

Okay:

Spreadsheet Updated to Post 2031

Just hope I did everything correctly. Also CSLACR, haven't yet been able to fix the issues you faced during the update :ouch: So those times between 1901-1941 still need to be added.

Anyways, I'll post my new laps tomorrow, after probably re-running a few of them. :)

These are the only 2 categories I can add time to, just checked it again.

Tuned (street legal)
Race/Non-production ALL STOCK

So all of the other classes I wasn't able to add. All between 1901-1941.

Awesome job clearing the list like that.👍

@CSLACR its on share currently.👍👍

Look for the green car as I did the tune as a tribute to the real life "Drift King" whose racing color is a shade of jade green close to what the car is done in.:gtpflag:

SH's?

Oops yeah I was tuning it in a comparison review with the '00 SS Version which had SH stock.
Feel free to change tires to whatever tuned cars are allowed, SS I believe.:odd:

Thx Zed for the update! appreciated :) 👍
