Nordschleife Lap Times

Nice to see some new faces in here. Im gutted all my race car times didnt make it to the board but hey, 2.08 I guess. Im going to buy another PS3 at the end of the month, I've got withdrawal symptoms.
 
Its same thing for everyone who had a lot of laptimes posted unfortunatly, me included :)
 
I see an error, possibly a typo but Amuse Z Superleggera's time is unrealistic.
7:01 in a 400-something car isn't possible from where I'm standing, unless I'm missing something but Mike should clear me on that one.
My bet is that the time was supposed to be a 7:11.

EDIT:
Looks like it's not a typo, I'll have to find a few seconds then!

I have a feeling 2.08 made everything slower, had a lap basically on the limit which resulted in 7:05, now my car isn't run in (only 50km on the clock) but I doubt that a few horses can get me 5 seconds (and I wouldn't call myself slow on this track).

Thx Mitch :) I hope people will run more of these, including the Tuner section, theres lot of good car to drive, and having a complete database of the best cars to use is what id like to see. :)

I assume its in the production sheet? i gone through all the alphabetical to clean the maximum of it, i fixed some in the production but didnt spent time to really clean it, i will fix that soon.

Is that the premium Evo IX right?
I think I did a 08:02.xxx lap like a month ago but I hit a wall in that lap. Lets see if I can do a 'cleanner' lap and improve that time later when I have time.

Yes, that is the premium Evo IX. I had some hard time getting a clean lap with it as my driving skills are "a bit" rusty :lol:, couldn't get anywhere near my old lap records :scared:

I want to test the new update and see if the cars are slower or faster than before, but before last week I didn't play in some time so I don't know if my times results would represent true changes in the cars.
 
So far they dont seem slower or faster unless you play with downforce. :)

Do you have any idea how/if cars like Ferrari 458 Italia and McLaren F1 are affected? Both of those cars have some aero stock~.

Would test them myself but I'm afraid I've lost some speed in the past few months :P

There was a thread where they tested a couples of cars before and after 2.08 for the aero, and the only difference was when you start playing with the downforce, at stock setting it was about the same. Thats why we have deleted only the laptimes that involved full aero.

So far i dont see difference, i will have to try more cars though, havent been able to play GT5 a lot since the update. :)

Im not sure is still have ghost replays for cars in that range, may be manuelos or sutuki. :)

This is a time that could still use some improvements...as I've been tuning and re-running the ring over and over for weeks dialing it in. I think I can get it down quite a bit more given a bit more time. I'll be shooting for a record time in this car this weekend in online sessions.

**Oh wait...this is a fully tuned car. :-/

The Subaru wagons are fun for sure, although without ABS the '99 wagon became quite hard to control :(, I was going sideways way too often.

Mitsubishi Evo's and ->'99 Impreza's are some of my favourite cars to drive on the 'Ring 👍
