Manage to do:

07:03.762 in a full body mods and aero, RS tires, supercharge Jaguar XKR Coupe '10 OPEN

Engine and other part are all stock, execept the turbo kits transmission, drivetrain, suspension and tires.
I would've dip into sub 7 but i'm playing it safe as it's my first time try out for this kind of lap time. Didn't record the video but i'd save the replay. :D

Hello to everyone and apologizes if I ask stupid questions.

But I was reading the first post and I'd like to know couple of more things.

Is my lap legit?
I have the latest version of GT5 (2.09) is that valid?
The track was Nordschleife with Change weather.
Tire Wear and Fuel Depletion was turned ON.
Grip reduction was set REAL
And I did two laps and the last one was the fastest one.

My time would be "open series"
06:17.924 - Pagani Zonda R '09 (Dr. P) (Open category)
RS-tires, Stock engine, default aerodynamics, default gearbox settings, default LSD, tuned suspension

My purpose was only time attack. Even though if it is an "unofficial" time, I had fun to drive :)

PS. I can post a video if someone wants to see.
PPS. Oh Damn and blast! I accidentally cleared my rankings. Well good thing I still got the best lap replay.
 
The tire wear should be off, for futur submission try to follow the exact rules, but it doesnt matter for this one, i can add your lap if you show the video of the replay for your first submission. :)
 
I have a dilema. I have no way of uploading a replay..the only computer in thehouse is my dad's and he is incredibly stingy

I always drive with tire wear on, hence I don't know does it give me an edge?

It can be done under 8 minutes but it got to be a perfect lap and I'm too erratic.

this car is about 1.5 seconds slower then the M-Spec. The ultimate Skyline (R34) they say...

These times can be done about 1 second faster with more consistensy on my part.

Edited to fix a tipo in the Evo's time and add the replay files.

There is probably a forum rule against this but Ive just got a new race seat and G25 and have been playing the pre alpha build of Project Cars on my pc.....its a breath of fresh air. As ive been posting times on this thread ( and the previous one ) for a couple of years, thought some of my fellow nurburgringers might want to check it out:


Its not the best lap I've ever done but solid enough. I love the GT series but will probably wait until GT6 comes out as im totally done with GT5. So see you all again when it comes out 👍

My guess would be sports medium, because all the other rally cars seems to run on those. I have the comfort softs and sports medium on the car, so I don't know which of them were the stock tyres

does this mean you cant add a bigger turbo or stage 3 engine upgrade, but you can change to ridehight or downforce etc?

Wow, that looks pretty good 👍

The looks and sound are really good, and although the laptime is a bit unrealistic and you can't really tell what it feels like to drive, it looks like the effect of downforce proportional to speed is modelled really well... plus, sounds from the way you're managing the throttle that you have to drive the car properly.

Is this PC only?
 
It will be for PS3 and i think Xbox as well, and the physic will improve its still under testing. :)
