My apologies, I was very un-aware that jailbraking was legal anywhere... (Coming from a guy that hates apple products) seriously though, think about all the money they have lost and are still losing due to jailbraking. If i were apple I would try to either hire the jailbrake creators and either work together to stop it from happening, or work together with them and collaborate some way and make a buiseness deal, but thats a whole different story for a different place and time...
wait does this mean that if you are on a leader board with a hybrid you're banned from gt5? or does it mean if you use a Hybrid online period your banned, like say i use my modded MX-5 to play around on a drift or cruise lobby but only in "for fun" lobbies i won't be banned right?
At last....

It's badly written for a message sent to millions of people.
Either ...these Online ID's will no longer...
Or ...the Online ID's in question will no longer...
apple isnt losing any money due to jailbreaking thedevs of apps are from pirating yes but apple still gets theyre cut apple is losing money because the iphone isnt as diverese as the andriods and isnt as open i am an iphone owner and the thing that is killing apple is theyre development has become stagnant the have one phone it should be killing the other phones the only thing it has going for it that i like is it works no bugs barely any glitches since ive owned them and great batterys also build quility and durability.

Does the X2010 JP flag edition count as a hacked car ? That one i still have ,not hacked.
Actually curious what's going to happen for things like this. It wouldn't surprise me at all if a lot of people who never did anything got caught in the crossfire (like what if they ban people who were sent a hybrid car but never did anything with it?), so what is PD going to do for that? Can you even contest the ban; and if so, how?
It boggles the mind how you haven't been banned, even after Terronium-12 deleted every single one of your posts. If you don't have anything to contribute, stay off the forums. I actually contribute to these forums because I can appreciate something that is really fun and creative. I also compliment users that take their time to make really cool cars that people have begged Polyphony for.
Still not deleting my hybrid cars. Why should I have to suffer because a group of immature little brats decided that ruining Time Trials, Drift Trials, and Online with their 1,000,000hp GT-Rs and Civics was a good idea? I refuse to delete my cars. I spent hours, even days tweaking each hybrid car of mine until it completely fulfilled my desires. I am not going to give up hours of my life spent wisely because of arrogant little 🤬. If I get banned, then oh well.
How exactly was I bypassing the swear filter? I clearly bleeped out a part of the word I was saying.
Whatever I'm not going to argue. For a site that's mainly comprised of teens and adults you would think that the swearing system would be a little forgiving.

elston87I think the hybrids are the least of Polyphony's worries. The fact that someone figured out the hex to enable the Secret option menu, and made use of that one feature online, got their attention. That feature is one way to grief someone pretty badly, and not only does it go against the ToS for both GT5 and PSN, it's just plain rude...
I'm a victim myself. Was in a public race myself with some friends racing 650PP cars. One person didn't take off when the flag was waved, so I figured he was A-F-C (away from control). About a good nine minutes into the race when I was building a gap, my car wouldn't respond and I crashed straight into the dirt at the Nurb.
I then realized someone was controlling my car and ruined my experience. Truth be told, I enabled this menu to see how that was done, and to my shock, it's scary. I didn't exactly use the feature, but having the ability to enable it and use it online is a chill throughout my whole spine. I'm sure a couple of other people have reported users for such abuse, too.
In a brief synopsis, I think Polyphony stepped up because of this menu and the feature that comes with it that can be used to grief racers online. We'll most likely be seeing a patch in the future if the bans don't solve anything...

In future either use the 🤬 similie or let the forum software censor the whole word, you effort did nothing to remove the actual word, a single * is pointless.
He might be on the mobile app like me so there is not a smiley insert place. I have no idea if it would work if I simply type 🤬 of it will work the same way.

NFSCARBON1So with this Menu can you fully take control of someone elses car? As in drive it round the track and finish the race?
While in this instance it is being used by people to cause trouble, could it potentially be the beginnings of a 'multi-driver' mode (similar to the mode on the upcoming PS4 where others can take over the game to help you out), for use in endurance races and the like?
If i remember correctly. Kaz took a feature like this out of the final version of the game. Probably since it can cause these problems.
I don't know much about the feature; all I know is that a keyboard is required, and you press some keys to take complete control of someone's vehicle. That's how I think it works, but I can't really say since I have not used it myself; all I did was enable the menu on a new savegame I created, then overwrote it with a backup of my normal savegame, just to see how it is enabled. So with this Menu can you fully take control of someone elses car? NFSCARBON1Ah right, I wasn't aware of that. Sad that some people find ruining everyone else's time 'fun'.
