The new year challenge sounds like the GT5's Expert Seasonals.

It even launched on the holiday season too!

Blog entries vs questions answered so far = ...Actually, I give up. And so has @Jordan apparently, because the Q&A forum has now been locked!

Shame on you Kaz & PD for your willful ignorance. You certainly know how to put paying customers off your product, & to give your brand a bad name.

Very good news and I say without irony.

The initiative was good but I'm not surprised it failed.

The first questions were quite interesting but it became anything.

Since Gran Turismo 5, they have made great progress in communication so I support PoDi at 100%.

They must continue like this, they only show concrete things.

Now I am convinced that the Q & A was not totally useless. I'm sure Podi read the questions and that they will keep the best suggestions for the future.

Looking forward to the next update of the blog and GT6 ! :)

Happy new year to all.

The top questions in terms of votes are exceptionally polite and well written especially considering it's an internet forum and considering that english is not everyone's first language. All of the top questions are on point and important to the series. Of course later on when it became clear that we were being deliberately ignored and Kaz/PD had no intention of answering the questions we put so much faith and effort into, things got a little off track but what do you expect when people are disappointed and even angry at being ignored for 6 months. I'm glad you still have faith, because it's not hard to tell from these boards that many formerly diehard fans have lost some or all of their faith in the franchise, partly because of this collossal failure on PD's part.

What I'd like to see now, is for @Jordan to make a News-post annoucing its closure right on the front page. I can't imagine PD doing anything from a mere closure that gets 'swept under the rug', but get one of the most popular GT-forums to put this disappointment 'out there' for other sites to see & spread, and I imagine GT PR would freak and/or panic.

I can understand if Jordan wishes not to, being closer to Kaz/PD than many of us, but that'll just be where the ignored fan-base takes over instead. Hopefully something other than a silent-end comes of this.

Well, Sony would do a complete 180-degree turn and order PD to apologise in public for this whole situation, for a start. I don't think this sort of negative publicity would please the high-ranked people. Especially after GTP went through all this trouble to set up the Q&A forum with PD in the first place, which only puts even more pressure on PD for a botched attempt.

But of course, the right for this news to become public is entirely Jordan's, his choice and his choice alone. And if the ignored fan-base takes it upon themselves to inform PD of this situation, things will only become more intense...

Why would we bother, if a girl you chase treats you like a fool the worst thing you can do is run after her and voice your disgust in public, same with this situation; the man (Kaz) doesn't care and does his own thing with 'his' videogame. That should have been clear already since it has been like this for many years now.

Luckily GTP is expanding and giving the competition their own subforum sections now, so at least we stay over here and talk about whatever racing game we do like to play, which is the most important in the end.

Not sure what's the point of doing the montly report because the Pit Stop blog was never meant to answer questions from the Q&A forum.

"So, you guys like that course maker thing?"

Well, he wouldn't ask a question about what we don't have, I think... Lest he was joking around with us.

Why are people so unkind?

Perhaps he uses an alias, and poses questions (threads with polls) throughout the various sub forums...

Some are unkind, true, but others are just worried with the future of the franchise. Unlike certain other people, I don't want to just drop GT because it's been a "bad girl" to me, I want to see it improve.

That could be true, but how we would we know? Does Kaz really read our posts, or does he have someone else assigned to that job? Someone close to him (as in vice-producer or that sort of thing)?

That's the point. Make us anxious.

This. PD needs some sort of "wake-up call".

That's the point. Make us anxious.

So, could I say that he would be doing his own "feature hype" by making us anxious?

This. PD needs some sort of "wake-up call".

And that "wake-up call" needs to be done by their "boss": Sony. This situation can only be decoded if Sony finally ends PD's infamous "silence plan" after seeing the fan backlash, otherwise we may never reach PD with our issues. This whole situation is similar to that story of a neighbour that dislikes you and builds a wall to separate his house from yours. You keep trying to get to him by destroying that wall, but he stubbornly keeps on rebuilding it. Soon, you reach your breaking point and give up trying to knock some sense into him. Many GT fans have already reached their breaking point, and some are very close to theirs. This is quickly reaching the point of no-return; and if PD does not wake up, they may never will.

It's also similar to the spoilt kid at the shops, who gets angry when mum wont buy sweets at the checkout.

Wouldn't say Jordan gave up but I think all the question we wanted to ask have been posted, it's there if PD choose to respond to it or not, either way PD can't mess up GT7 with the racing genre being this competitive, heck it is the first time they'll not only be competing with an actual full blown sim on consoles but even Sony now have another AAA racing IP.

I really feel sorry for @Jordan, I really do. All that effort, and every sweat that dropped to show his and the staff's dedication to help the franchise with the fans by getting the developers to at least interact with them in order see if they care back, has all gone to waste because of ONE MAN who is SO stubborn, didn't have the willpower to do it.

It's good that some folks still have faith in this franchise, but after the closure of the Q/A subfourm, that alone should be a clear message to put everyone off of PD, because it shows that they just don't care. Let me repeat that, THEY. DON'T. CARE. WHAT. WE. THE FANS. WANT. It's all what KAZ want's in 'his' game. Why should anyone even support GT7 after this, you'll just be going through the same phase like you did with GT6. After the BIG interviews with KAZ, PD and SONY hyping every 🤬 about what's gonna be in GT7 (especially dem graphix, da powah of PS4) and the game finally releases, just like that, a single flick of a finger and back to square one of being locked in the basement to be ignored once more.

Mind you, I'm one of the hardcore fans who's been supporting GT since GT2 since I was a child. It just took me awhile to finally wake up and realize the truth behind PD thanks to their attitude AND stubborness, AS WELL AS GT6.

Wow, there is some butt-hurt going on in this thread.
12 months after purchase, I still play 2 - 3 times a week.

No other game has that kind of longevity.

Communication has very little impact on my choice of which game to purchase.
Well at least we have the two of you around, and a few others I'm sure, to tell us how wrong we are for caring about the failure of the Ask Kaz Forum:tup: Please forgive us for not being as non-chalant about it as you are.
