404: Humour not found. Seemed more like a pissy dig at PD to me. The fact that you find it funny and others don't is probably more to do with the fact his sentiment lines up with your agenda, rather than (as you so patronisingly put it) it "going right over our heads"...
I'm praying that P CARS releases without delay so that the noise level around here dies down. For a day or two.

Just like it did for DriveClub.

Just like it did for Assetto Corsa.

Just like it did for GRID Autosport. Boy, those games had legs, didn't they. :P

Now admittedly, P CARS has a chance at lasting longer, because at least there's a livery editor in it to personalize your rides and make them your own. But the number of cars is skimpy, and the models included at launch is eclectic. Hopefully there won't be too many one make races. I didn't expect a GT-like stable, but it's making Forza 5's car list seem pretty big. Can hardly wait for that $DLC for it...

We don't know, Try when GT7 comes out.
I know I'm so popular around here for repeating this, but I really wish Kaz would mostly drop work on GT6 and focus on delivering GT7. And the indication from such a trickle of new content for GT6 seems to indicate this.

Why essentially abandon GT6? Well, look at Project CARS. Graphics to die for, running on PS4 at 1080p. Racing fields as big as 42 cars on track! A Livery Editor! As much as people belittle the PS4 at being a "gaming laptop," it's the most powerful laptop I've ever seen for the outrageously high price of $399 (sarcasm for the haters and the unquick).

I had a chat last night as I was racing in GT6 with a former member from here who decided the atmosphere became a bit too much and dropped out, about P CARS, wanting to know if I had an impression of how good it would feel. We both want GT7, but we have to make do with GT6 in the meantime, and anything that's worthwhile, because as I lamented, GT6 just doesn't have the resources on this eight year old, antiquated PS3 to live up to its potential. This poor console is holding everything back, while next gen games like Forza 5, Assetto Corsa and P CARS are miles ahead of it in capability. And as good as AC is, it's just another sim to me. Hopefully P CARS won't seem that way or it's going to be a long dry spell for racing on my upcoming PS4.

GT7 needs to appear ASAP. It seems to me that as much as people around here leapfrog from awesomest racer EVAR to the next new awesomest to come along, the world is waiting for that Gran Turismo being built in those top secret Polyphony workstations. Certain members here aside (that they'll admit to anyway).

By the way, that "Hitler" video has just about fossilized, it's so old and overused.

It would seem they are trying to match another real world event with a Nurburg 24 event on the way for Quick Match.

Yeh.
We lost the Touring Cars at Bathurst, so it seems reasonable to guess the Scirocco will stay and it will be a courtesy car event.
I would prefer to see a garage car (tunable) event myself.
I think that's where people get the most out of these events.

I could be wrong of course, we'll see what happens soon enough.

The most intriguing thing in the article for me was the mysterious work in New York. All that was mentioned by the author was how it reminded him of GT4 and photo mode.

Is the New York Street Circuit from GT4 coming back?
Will the Brooklyn Bridge Photo Mode location return?

The big question is why even mention New York, but not say the purpose of the work.
