Just finished my race with GTP_ChaseaceJ and it was a blast.Due to a short cut pen. to Chase, I was able to run away with it.But up to lap 7 we were within 0.500 of each other.

This is rediculous. The download my brother was doing finished on time. Which means I can race now. I sent GTP_ThaCrazyOne a message telling him to be online just in case it finished, and instead he's gone back to bed now. I was talking about racing Monday instead IF the download didn't finish, but it did, and I would have been pushing aside other things on Monday in order to make my race (In other words I didn't want to race Monday unless I HAD to). Can I go back to having a bye week or something?

Edit: Just for the sake of being official I showed up at our initial determined race time. So the way I see it, I showed up for our race while my opponent is in bed with a hangover. I was indeed talking about re-scheduling IF the download didn't finish in time, which is why I had told him to be online in case it did, which he wasn't. I would have been making a sacrifice to race on Monday, so since I didn't really need to I certainly don't want to. What happens now EDK (or any other online race admin that can help)?

Thanks to my brother being a complete and utter tosser (I hate my brother so much), it looks like I might have to resign. Unless GTP_ThaCrazyOne can race tomorrow.

Yes I expected your reaction to be like this. BTW, it's 10:00am for him at the time we had determined, hardly staying up late. Either way, I shall try and have the race tomorrow as he has preferred it that way now anyway, being hungover and everything. I'm irked because I've been having fights with my brother and making a big deal out of it to make sure I got my race tonight, which in the end never happend. I told him to stay online just in case but he didn't.

As for claiming the win, wake up, I was originally scheduled as a bye for week 01 until he was approved for the GTP Registry. I was given the option of racing him, which I happily agreed to do. If I cared about winning and progressing that much does that sound like the action I'd take?

Edit: I have sent a message about scheduling it for tomorrow night now, I am waiting on response.

GTP_Marooned vs Derowo

Brief of the 2 races:

1hr 15min trying to get in the same race , at last we did, Derowo using his DFP and i'm on my DS3.

1st one was too easy, Derowo was running the M3 in stock settings, so i had a big lead, and waited for him 3 times. 2nd race was better as i gave him my settings but it didn't work with him either but he was close, .8xx to .5xx, may be i was too ready for the race (been training for a week, 4 hrs every day)

This is not looking promising again. It's less than an hour until our proposed race time, I sent him messages yesterday about the time, he has been online since, but no replies and he's not online yet.

Marooned is right, it drove me insane always missing eachother, but finally we did.

First I have to set something straight, I did NOT use my DFP (with playseat), but the DS3.

Preparation was zero on my part, 👎 due to the fact that the PS3 is in the livingroom and for that matter time to play and practise is limited anyhow. Maybe place a router en move it upstairs is better.💡

Now that I read Marooned practised for 1 week 4hrs a day I understand the difference in time, well done mate.👍

I was sure that I had my M3 prepared with the right setup in the game. Maybe anyone can confirm that when you go online, you loose your setup and have to prepare it again? So first race was lost bigtime.

Second race Marooned took the lead, me following with a gap all the race. In the last lap I closed the gap, not sure if he made a mistake or was waitng for me to catch up. In the chicane I braked too late and we collided, I took the lead anyway and finished first.

Immediately I received a (angry) message from Marrooned, I replied congratulating him with the victory. It was already late and time to go sleep anyhow.

The concept of racing like this online is a great initiative which I enjoy very much.

From this position I would like to wish all the contenders who continue succes and maybe we meet some day on the track.
