Oh man! I thought Blast Factor was great but the Super Stardust video looks Awesome!

Blacksite: Area 51 looks good too. Although I'm sure it will have spiders or something like that in it.

Seeing the frame rate (Area 51)in the 360 version lowers my expectation of the PS3 version's but it does look cool. Stardust does look intense. Getting that and Super sprint when they release. Have you seen the Strangle hold trailer?

It reminds me a lot like GUN and the characters/settings remind me of a typical asian movie. This would usually make me want to pass but the game play looks awesome so I'll probably give it a go.

In the trash. I played it, (PC and 360 version) and it's not that good. The FFB is absolutely terrible, and it's just not "fun". It's not a sim, and it's not "arcade". It just didn't give me any kind of excitement. Very dull, and the color pallete was bland and boring. Meh, I say it's maybe a 6.5 to 7 out of10 based on the demo.

I've been hearing bad things about it and well I'd like to play if for myself then I can then judge it too. No offense, but we don't agree on a lot so why would I take your word for it?

...Because it's more or less the general opinion. It's the opposite of Forza 2 – it looks flippin' pretty, but the gameplay is bland. At times I thought I would throw up because of motion sickness.

...Then again, it's an old build of the game (the copyright for the game is dated from 2006!), so flaws may be fixed.

EDIT:

There's supposed to be the big Resistance update tomorrow (map packs and a patch that lets you play with anyone worldwide), and a Folks Soul demo as well.

I still need to make a Japanese store accnt, I have an American and Chinese and European accnts but no a Japanese one. Might do this now infact.

Anyone played the Folks Soul demo? Ive never heard of it, what it it and whats it about?

Because thankfully Sony's 1st party titles reek of high quality and great production values.

Otherwise we'd have a few good 3rd party games published by 1st party, and a boat load of garbage.

It's all in Japanese. I'd tell you if I knew. I gave up after walking around for five minutes and the cutscenes are ridiculous without any voice acting. I downloaded Mainichi Issho and I thought that was way more fun, even though it's all in Japanese as well.

Yeh I had a look last night but it was late and I was already downloading something. Maybe later.

All you do is walk into the bar, talk to a few people, walk out, then walk to the north-eastern most exit, and it will take you to a flowery area eventually, and you can kill some monsters. It's actually pretty fun.

I second this. I downloaded it, but when you load it up it connects to the net but takes forever to actually do anything, I got so bored of waiting Iturned it off and removed it off the HDD.

EU PlayStation Store


We get two new Resistance Maps this week, both are downloadable in a single pack for 4.49 Euro. I also got some confirmed releasedates (since the pressrelease went out this morning). Nucleus (7.99 Euro) will be released on PSN on July 6th, Calling All Cars wil finally be downloadable for 7.99 Euro on the 22nd of this month. Go Puzzle is out of course, and June 15th the MotorStorm Time Attack Mode Pack will be released. And that's free of course.

But, finally, on June 22nd, us European PS3 owners will get the PSOne titles like Crash Bandicoot, Syphon Filter, WipeOut, Everybody's Golf, Jumping Flash! and Medievil. More titles will be available later.

That will teach us for going and having a range of languages and differing laws to have to work around.

Oh well I can wait for the PS one games (having waited this long already) I just want the RFOM update and maps at the same time as the rest of the world.
