What, are you some kind of fortune teller?!

So who won? Who wrecked? and Who rage quit???

I could be be wrong, but i believe the top 3 were.

1. BK
2. RoadRash
3. Envy

I ran an experiment this week to see just how racing mediums stack up against racing softs. Needless to say, mediums are pointless if soft can be used. Even with the additional pit stop (minus Envy) on softs....they were quicker.

Fresh tires were the key last night. I was able to make up a ton of ground on my last stint. I think I was 18 seconds down to the leader when I came out of the pits. But I think it's the nature of the Tokyo track. We've had races at other tracks that proved track position and less stops were the way to go. Anyways it was a fun race and I enjoyed hunting down the leaders like the "old days".

This weeks race will definately be a challenge. Both in tire wear and keeping the "beast" on track.

Thanks again to all who raced last night.

Looks great DJ. Are you going to do a copy and paste to pick cars? If you are I'm going to take the Camaro so you could start the list and pencil me in.

As far as last nights race. It was really interesting to see how several strategies played out. It is a great place to race.

Thanks! Just reply on the thread with your choice and wheel/car color combo and I will update the op!

I let my ego get in the way last night. A two stopper would have been perfect for me. I had the speed but ran out of grip in the last four laps.

Very true. You were quick during practice.

I ran a slower pace to save tires. Should have run balls out on the first stint when everyone was battling at the start. I had a 6 second lead with a slower pace. I probably could have gotten 10 seconds ahead and then pitted.

Oh well...shoulda, coulda, woulda.... bottom line I made a bad decision and lost.

GTA Silvia now on share for seasonal. Setting A for TT.
Kinda loose, heh. Awesome track, wish we could have that one. Used stock set up for race.

Ncr is right cockpit view is the way to go , I've been using it with the clutch and gear shifter , this week at Daytona I'm gonna race using it and hopefully some of you are brave enough as well!!

You're picking a heck of a car to start in cockpit view with shifter. Envy and i messed around with it Thursday night. It was fun but crazy hard lol

Good luck Mike! I can't see out of that thing.

I really enjoyed cockpit view on the current seasonal Silvia Toscana track. Started learning the track that way. Fun stuff. Use mine, I've got a good tune on it.

That track is fun. Only turned 3 laps to achieve the gold TT time. But enjoyed the layout. Much better than the other user created tracks they typically introduce.

Let me know if anyone is up for practice tonight. I also need to test a new headset.

Guys, I put a track on share.
Try it Offline first...cockpit view/no hud... with a fast car.

Make sure your seatbelt is on.

PlayStation Network Maintenance This Thursday

Steel yourself!

by Colin Moriarty

July 24, 2012

According to the European PlayStation Blog, the PlayStation Network is set for “scheduled maintenance” that will occur beginning on Thursday, July 26th. The maintenance will last for 16 hours.

The times listed for Europe (BST) are 4pm Thursday afternoon through 8am Friday morning. That translates to 8am on Thursday through midnight Friday morning (PT).

During the planned maintenance period, the PlayStation Store will be down for all platforms, as will account management and registration. However, Sony does note that “if you wish to play online during the maintenance, then you may be able to do so if you sign into the PSN before the start of the maintenance window.”

The US PlayStation Blog has yet to comment on the planned maintenance period, but chances are this outage will affect the entirety of Sony’s worldwide PlayStation Network. However, we’re still waiting for confirmation on that front and will update when we hear more.

I guess we'll have to see what happens. If its down we can race Friday
