Isn't game content a continuous buy? Monthly?

No.... your thinking of iRacing . iRacing you pay by the month for their service and servers.

rFactor 2
Asseto Corsa
Project C.A.R.S.
are all 60$ games.

Hey guys, I'm interested in joining this series!

If there is room?

If so, I'll probably run the old Penske colors; Dark Blue, yellow wheels, number 09.

What are good benchmark times for Indy Road, Madrid and Mazda.

Allin my crew chief is waiting for you to fax over tunes.

I can add you as the final reserve. Please add me to your friends list. We are having a car break in and exhibition races ( short sprints) this coming wens night. I'm almost positive you'll have a spot each week.

Thanks! I'll add you next time I have a chance. And I'll get a car ready.

That's a nice bike in your profile pic. Street Glide? Yours I'm assuming?

I should be on tonight trying to get a couple tunes together. Probably around 9-9:30

Also for you guys that don't know Skeletor has been involved with quite a few vintage and old school muscle car series of his own. So I'm pretty sure he'll make a welcome addition to our group.

See you guys tonight

Good practice guys. I think my mic was acting up there at the end. Either way, welcome aboard for the series skeletor and ableaction. Normally you can find a majority of us on for some practice at around 9:30 EST if interested in joining.

thank you roadrash for the introduction. redrobin, you put up some very good lap times. I was within a second in practice, but looks like I could use some more practice. I can tell this is going to be a very good and very competitive series, and I'm looking forward to racing with you guys.

Oh, and I usually can't hear anyone on a mic anyways.

I wont stop until you guys see the light...

Great cause BK. Maybe we should look into how many guys would be interested in PC's and find a vendor that would give a quantity discount. I deal with some good vendors with my job.

Let's officially start this. How many guys would be interested in buying a PC for Project Cars? Once I have a count I'll ask my vendors what the cost per PC would be and if we agree on price we'll purchase them.

So... who's All In???

Great practice last night guys. It was nice to meet new racers with this group.

AbleAction, nice racing with you. My experience with you last night is you were very clean. Thanks.

Skeletor27, I've followed you on some of the vintage tuning forums and I expect you to be a force to be reckoned with in this series.

I think this car is fun but challenging and will make for a great series. I'm still amazed how much fun I had at the super speedways.

xROADRASHx,I suggest we try a sprint at Deep Forrest this week. There is a tuning forum for the 69 rm Camaro and they base their tunes on lap times at Deep Forest. They're running 1:09's with a few in the 1:08's. I'd love to see how we stack up to them.

Depends on the price. I've been wanting to get into PC sim racing for over 4 years now. Problem is, i am cheap. I refuse to dump $1,000 on a gaming computer.

I'm not spending $1k either. After we get an idea how many would be interested I'll talk to my vendor and get a price.

Racers,
This will be the schedule for Wednesday nights pre season events:
9:00pm EST-lounge opens
9:30pm -qualify
9:45pm -10+1 laps Autumn Ring
10 min break-10+1 laps Deep Forest Raceway(reverse grid order)
After race dabble at Monza

New members please be sure to show up on time as we will give you guys the run down on how we qualify, enter track for the grid order and the rules for the pace lap.

Here's a quick run down:
1. my lounge opens 9:00pm EST
2. 9:30pm EST-I open public lobby to ensure better race quality and connection
3. you will be called to enter track and begin qualify (usually half the field at a time)
4. run your warm up and hot laps (2 to 3) track dependant
5. re enter pits and hold there
6. after all racers have qualified you will be asked to text your time
7. exit track
8. reset track
9. Envy will give the qualifying order
10. enter track and line up in order behind pole sitter
11. start race
12. 1 pace lap at 60mph with 3 car length spacing

I know it sounds a little confusing but we have it down to a science and runs very smoothly. Unfortunately this is what we have to do for correct starting order. Also, we will be staying in my lounge the whole time so people can come and go. Any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. See everyone on race night!!

I believe the WTCC is on speed in the middle of the night so set your TiVo's.

Also as for the pc's go I'm in, I'm in no hurry but it would ad a lot to grow our skills and the whole experience , I too don't want to invest a huge amount but am actually working on a plan and will get one when its time.

BTW; we are going to have a mandatory pit stop in each of the exhibition races. Just to get the new guys up to speed with all the rules and regs.
