...At least he's creative...

Maybe I'm just jealous. My IS350 makes do with a mere 630hp.

My vacuum had 635. Goes from suck to blow like nobody's business.

And I like toast, too. I can haz is when you're done?

Does your toaster do crumpets?

Ha, I have a stick mixer that pumps out 680NM and 3000rpm. Makes smoothies like that!

Psh. Lightweights. I have a rotisserie oven rated at 741 Hp. at the wheel, and 1337 Nm. of torque at 7,350 RPM. Cooks chicken in 2.9 seconds flat.

That is physically impossible :P

1337 Nm. @ 7350rpm automatically equates to 1385hp.

1337Nm was at the break and he was compensating for drivetrain loss. Especially when you have to load a big sumbitch chicken.

Maybe it's a four-wheel drive automatic rotisserie with 20" chickens? It's been known to happen.

Of course it's probably made by Nissan, and it automatically cuts out half the horsepower when you put it on the dyno, because... y'know... they cheat... and you lose an extra 25% of that power if you're a Porsche Engineer, since the power button has built-in fingerprint identification...

Which leads to 8 minute roasting times for every chicken cooked by Porsche on the rotisserie in laboratory tests...

You guys are horrible, I currently drive a 94' Acura Integra LS, non-vtec, smoked a clan of drifters yesterday getting on the highway, then passed a cop at 180kph, lukily the cops around here don't chase anyone going over 160kph cause their cars are only factory tuned...

And! I hit a Semi in my 1/4 drag this morning, did a full barel roll and landed perfectly, walked away :)

See! He's behind me!

I have a blower for my Integra ;) lmfao

Here we go.

This.....

....does this....

That is because you have never been in it.

only weighs 1.3 tonne and has damn near race car like suspension settings.

Not comfortable down most roads but it beats M3's (new and old), any new commodore/falcon and pretty much everything else around corners.

Only thing it lacks at the moment is power (needs to get a turbo for it)

Called out in thread and asked for proof to be provided here.

Scaff

I had to go scout that thread to read what was said originally Scaff. I previously OWNED an XD Falcon so I know how 'quick' they are, or rather...how not quick they were. :P To list the mods again:

drive a 1982 falcon with a 2 inch exhaust, ported head, lowered springs, KONI adjustable shocks all 'round and nolothane bushes. I have also done work to the cooling system.

So, based on the motor he's got and I AM going to assume it's only the 250ci (4.1L six) crossflow motor since anyone with a V8 version wouldn't stick to ONLY 2" for the exhaust....he's got roughly 140-160hp in a car that weighs around 1300-1350kg depending on options. Even less if it's the 200ci (3.3L six) motor. And considering he's got those bulky ass XR6 rims on it, I'd add another 40-50kg to the total. And considering that they ONLY DID 18's on the 1/4 mile from factory with the auto (which this fool is running), I DOUBT that it would beat anything from BMW, even a 318i.

As for work on cooling system..... A radiator flush isn't considered 'work' to the engine. :sly: And the suspension work would've NEEDED to be done as the suspension on the XD wears out after being on the road for 30yrs. ;)

Well mafia_boy the XE does benefit from rear coils and watt linkage suspension over the the leafs on the XD, maybe that with some right settings makes it a M3 killa :P

His is a 6 cyl (250 crossflow I assume) but even if it was the 351 V8 (5.8) they only made 145kw's (190hp) or so anyway.

Maybe cause its a 80's Falcon and Ford likes to share parts. (the lights are factory)

It's an XD, he's a ricer and fitted an XE grill. :D:P:lol: I won't believe anything else. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Haha maybe considering it does have XF mirrors and EF/EL XR6 wheels :P

And everyone knows Clarion windshield banners are good for an extra 2.3mph.

, not to mention, lowered springs, adjustable shocks and nolathane bushings became "near race suspension" when?

Yeah well don't get them wrong, there are some TOUGH X series Falcons out there, but this one is no BMW killer! If he wasn't trying to talk it up like a newb I'd have respect for his car, even though it's slow, and dirty.

Those V8s were pretty heavily detuned and easy to make 200+kW. But a 2" exhaust would not be a V8, at least not a powerful one.

is it a tree killer though,i vaguely recall these cars having a thing for trees.

Haha only green ones.

Like pretty much every V8 from mid 1970's to mid 1980's. I have worked on a few of these 'lazy' 351's and they're quite capable but really need to be opened up to reach the capability, problem is by the time you're done pretty much only the original block remains.

Nope, the tree normall wins those fights too. Also defeating this one are power poles, sign posts, gutters and Bathurst.:sly:

Absolutely, as were all V8s through the late '70s and all '80s, and even partly through the '90s.
