Maybe not, but highly suspect. the part that raised my eyebrows, despite the whole "that's a million dollars worth of cars" thing was listing the LP560-4 separately from the Gallardo.

Also driving them is one thing, driving them hard enough to really appreciate them is another.

Well... driving them enough to feel more comfortable in the Audi doesn't require 10/10ths driving.

If you wishest to prod the boy and ask where he got the chance, go ahead... but if he's not claiming to own them, disproving his story (unless he slips up in the explanation) will be more than a matter of a piece of paper and a digital camera.

Whats a R8 doing racing a LP? it would get demolished... If I remember the figures correctly it was horribly slow for how much it costs and consider all the competition at similar prices being much faster...

I think he explained it in the thread... one of those invitational "experiences"... which would explain the line-up of cars.

No biggie... you don't have to be super rich to get a chance to drive one of those things... just rich enough to pay a fee for the track time... and you've got to live in one of those countries where such a service is actually available.

It is a bit more believable but I see a lack of "GTP, love fiaz1" in those pics.

I buy it, they're all taken with the same camera phone obviously and most of the pictures are in the same driveway. He also had a perfectly reasonable explanation as to why he couldn't put a sign in the window. I agree on calling people out if they're spewing garbage, but sometimes it gets too harsh.

I buy it too. I mean, most people claim that they own it, he's just kind of lucky to have a brother like that. Good on him for at least backing his claims with some photos, unlike just about everybody else.

NO....the cars there aren't the ones he claimed to have.

He said IIRC that he had a red E46 - all I see is two cabs, none of them red...and one of them with a change of wheels in one shot. The E90 shown isn't an M3....well there is an E90 M3 but whats doin with that other one? Seems to be geting more coverage. The CSL is there as is the M5, M6 and X5 and the gold GTR. But they're taken at different times of the day. Sure, go ahead and prove me wrong, but I think that that building behind is either running an upper class buisness (eg massage, psychiatry) where rich people come and he snaps them, or that its his house and people over the years with these cars have visited him.

I was going to say... why claim "my brother/uncle/distant cousin owns one" when you can claim "I own 1, 2 1337 4 j00."... but you beat me to it.

I call shenanigans. Pics of him with his brother, DNA analysis and his brother's credit card number and verification number.

On second thought... he should PM the credit card details directly to me.

This post is funny. I think you're reading a bit too far into this one pal.

And I didn't mention that his M6 magically turned silver on one of the shots.

This is the result for "Silverstone Blue". Same color. And as he said, vinyl wrapped white.

How creepy would it be for an older (older than his brother anyways) to come to the guys business and introduce himself as someone who talks to his little brother online?!

Knock knock... sir? We're the e-police. We're just coming to check on your brother's grasp of reality? Oh, he does? You do? Okay then... our bad...

NURNBURGRINGKING said this in the Daimler carriage around the 'ring thread:

I can do Nurburgring in 3 wheeler or 4 wheeler in:
approx. 8 minutes easy.
approx. 7 minutes if try hard.
approx. 0.003 if im being smug.
And those are all true by the way

Smallhorses appears to be on top of it. And NURNBURGRINGKING is obviously aware of it as he has posted in that thread since.

It isn't remotely ludicrous. Almost anything is possible with cheat devices, and he has mentioned in other threads that he likes to use cheats "for fun." He has made plenty of other ludicrous claims (although I think those belong in the GT4 forum and don't need to be ragged on further here), but this one isn't.

I held out for a while, but I'm no longer able to sit by whilst Sam48 continually makes claims that he's unable to back up in this thread...

Here are some examples...

CO2 cools the atmosphere, yes it's a fact.

I have to agree with Heath_1.

You apparently live in a place with filtered media.

Co2 cools the atmosphere because co2 is heavier than oxogen. So when a car emits co2, the co2 simply stays on the earth. When the sun's rays penetrate the atmosphere, the rays themselves hit the oxygen(plus other atmospheric chemicals) first, then as the rays get closer to the earth, the rays hit the co2, which effectively slows down the rays (because co2, like I stated before, is heavier and denser than oxygen), and in the process doesn't allow the full blast of the suns rays to get to the ground. This is why co2 cools the earth.

But all this aside, I don't look at the whole "global warming" thing from a scientific stand point, I look at it from a business stand point. It's a form of TAXATION. Follow the money.

If everyone drove electric cars, then the government would have to find a new way to tax people. Think about it, no global warming, no tax!? Surely not. That's what global warming is there for. Without the invention of global warming there would be no emissions tax. I know your gonna bombard me with scientific facts, but the truth is there is no science behind this, just a greedy government. Infact, Back in the 70's it was global cooling (you can google that), and they where right. But keep in mind this was before scientists received grant money from the government. I'll say again, follow the money. Yes the entire post matters.

Let me put it like this. (I somewhat agree with Stevisiov) The whole global warming thing has been preached for about the last 40 some years. The earth has been around for billions of years. So scientist have decided that within this 40 years of research, that their is a climate crisis, when nobody even knows what the recorded temperatures were before 1910. For all we know the climate where living in now could be cooler than normal. Nobody knows.

Why do you think Europe has emission tax and people like me in the US don't.

Nope, it's because European governments followed the money, and became socialist. In America we don't have global warming related taxes because we are capitalist. I can't describe really the rest. You'd have to step back and look at everything differently to understand this. This really doesn't belong on GTP but I'm trying to make a point.

I look at this global warming thing from a business stand point. HFS looks at it from a scientific stand point. which makes it kinda hard to argue. anyway.

If anyone of you (European person) lived in the US for just a few months you'd understand what freedom is, and how bad your government really is. We've gone way off topic.

Sorry, I can see how that might confuse you. I'll clear that up.

When businesses "follow the money", it's usually a good thing.
When government "follows the money", it's usually means their looking for a new way to tax you. Such as emissions tax. So without global warming, no emissions tax. A single country's government gets billions of (your currency) every year through emission related taxes, so without global warming, those billions of (your currency) would stay in the hands of the people. Do you follow?

Everything you said was perfect. Except the part about global warming being real. Because your country is socialist, you have emission tax, but because the US is not socialist, we don't have emission tax. So doesn't that kinda hint something to you there???

It's hard to get my point across to people who have little knowledge of businss and politics so I'll shut up. I know that I don't give any sources or links, but that's because I base my answers souly off my knowledge of the subject.

I got bored after all those but there are probably more. I know the topic itself is a bit high-brow compared to the normal "I have a GT-R lulz!" sort of ludicrous claims but I'm directing here as there's been a complete lack of any sources provided for the dubious political and scientific "facts" he's used despite me asking him on several occasions.

Wow, his knowledge of businss and politics, is the greatest ever.

You apparently live in a place with filtered media.

And you get Fox News \o/

So scientist have decided that within this 40 years of research, that their is a climate crisis, when nobody even knows what the recorded temperatures were before 1910.

Pretty sure there are recorded temperatures going back to the middle of the last millenium.

Then again, who am I to argue with someone with such a resounding depth of knowledge on businss and politics!

I get worked up just reading his posts.... :yuck: I guess ignorance really is bliss... :)
