He isn't the only one in that thread making ludicrous claims.

I'm not talking about you HFS.

I was about to say the same.

There is very little actual fact in the global warming debate...so both sides seem somewhat ludacris to me.

And it isn't just the global warming information. As it drifted into politics and economics it just got worse.

You guys really expect a ton of intelligent discussion coming out of the GT5 forums?

No, unfortunately, which is why I rarely venture in, but I got drawn into the vortex :P I normally keep my GT5 thoughts to the premo thread but I'm a sucker for conversations about electric cars...

Anyway, the thread has been closed now.

Can we try to keep ludicrous claims to things in the real world and not who has the fastest Ring time in GT4?

I'm an american rally driver, so I need some american stages, so could someone make the 100 Acre Wood, Sno*Drift, and Tim O'Niel Rally School.
Not just this bit (but i've still requested shots of the car)....

I'm friends with Travis Pastrana, he also plays this (He reccommended it to me :D )

....rather this bit. Which is quite a bold claim to make.

I do see different reasons for ludicrous claim:

1) You get the facts wrong, in the spur of the moment. I'm certain it happens to people with very high IQs! (Is that a ludicrous claim itself?)
2) You exaggerate to an extend you think is funny:
You get the Nissan GTR Black mask in GT5P by having 5 times gold in all S-events.
;)
But not everyone will know, so your should try to make it clear it is not serious.
3) You make ludicrous claim to sound more interesting.
=> Beats taking a gun to a public place and shooting people at random.
=> But makes you look silly
=> Probably will not make you feel better in the end

Prince Charles introduced me to Desperate Housewives, y'know.
Calls for pictures of the both of you in front of the telly, watching it.

I just read that whole thread, wow! And what is it with people on here and 14 year olds? We are not all bad, it just seems that everyone points fingers at 13/14 year olds for having bad punctuation, lazy spelling and all that stuff.

Anyway, I wont believe that person has a Porsche till I see a picture with gtplanet in it.

Even if he does have a Porsche, it's nothing to shout about, there are loads of them about.

Indeed not all our younger members are bad, in fact there are a few older members who act younger than their shoe size and could take a few pointers from you Legendary ;)

I find it quite sad that this person has such a poor grasp of their language, if he is at school then something has gone wrong somewhere. We can't all be beautifully eloquent, as I am proof of, but I don't even know anyone who speaks like this!

As Strittan says the real shame is he probably doesn't have many friends and if that's how he presents himself IRL it's going to stay like that.

Notice that he not only says he owns more than one Porsche, which would be extremely awesome, he owns the Carrera GT, which he states "none of us could own." Us? Aren't you the one with the GT?

Whatever. I own a Koenigsegg CCXSRRSZZFLOL and I ride my unicorn to school every day. Oh, and don't worry about a riding license, I'm over 21.

Yeah, don't worry, I'm actually 21, despite my body being 15. I made a time machine a few ears ago that made my body six years younger.

Unfortunately, it did have the minor side effect of warping in 1500 rabid ninjas, so I had to use my patented "anti-rabid-ninja ninjutsu" against them. I made it in 42 long years of continuous work.

Provided the time machine clearly has documentation pertaining to the time frames in question, it should be okay.

But now you've gone too far and ruined it :indiff:
