Whut?

All of his posts to this site have been made from two Virgin Media IP addresses. I already checked - hence my post in that thread. He's in the UK now. His explanation that he's moved to the US, hence the US-spec S2000, doesn't wash because he's in the UK.

Nervous about people saying they are lying. Guy is desperated to prove it's his car in the pic, and lies. But he only worsens the matter.

EDIT: Did I just make up a word?
There is no reason to lie if it's true. If you do lie then you're obviously hiding something. It's like when people change their stories in court - no, it's not because you were nervous, or you forgot, it's because you did or are lying about something.

It's already been proven that he lied so I don't see why you're defending him.

What if you are innocent, but you can't prove it? Meanwhile, someone else can "prove" you guilty.

What would you do?

It's not the same to say "there's no reason to lie" than "it's not reasonable to lie". The latter is what I mean. It's not reasonable to lie. One does it anyway. Case in point, sometimes I lie when I'm nervous.

I'm not really defending him, I'm defending myself. I know that I have lied previously because of the reason I mentioned in the previous post.

Yes, I'm sure he went outside to post a "Hi GTP" pic, but he got nervous and accidentally wrote "this is not my car" instead .

You surely have heard of innocent people going to jail, haven't you?

Fair enough, and of course I've heard of that and it's a real shame.

As for the rest of what you are saying then if I'm correct. Sometimes one might feel so hopless and steam rolled that they feel the need to resort to lying in order to save themselves, I guess I could see that although I'm pretty sure it would only dig the hole deeper.

Either way, I don't think home boy owns an s2k ;)

I don't have anything to back this up, but, my grandpa has a friend that has an '03 Cobra with over 900hp but every time he drives it, something breaks.

That sounds completely reasonable actually, no reason to doubt this.

As a previous owner of a 600+hp '03 Cobra, I believe you - especially the part in bold.:D

True that, I pointed it out previously in a very university-esque language.

That's probably the case. But if one reads everything we have so far, it's not impossible for him to own it.

But was it on the internet?

Nope, real life.

Explain what, exactly? Its very existence? If so, it's not impossible for someone to have accounts in different forums. It's also not impossible for someone to post their car in two different forums.

Keep in mind I'm talking about what's possible, not what's likely. It's possible for the user to post the same pics in two different forums. It's not likely, though, given the 8 month different from post to post, which is why I believe that's not his car.

You can still do imageshack through Safari, then post on GTP from there.

You don't actually need to use the GTP iPad app. I've never used it on the iPad.

There is also an Imageshack Uploader app, which is what I use when using my iPhone.
